Ruud Misses the Winning Penalty..

After coming back from being down 2-0 , Ruud Van Nistelrooy, on the 89th minute missed what should have been the winning goal against Olympique Lyonnaise on match day 5 of the UEFA Champions League. Nevertheless, their 2-2 draw secures the whites a place in the final 16 knock-out phase.

---

It's really over, you made your stand
You got me stunned, as well as you planned
But when my loneliness is through,
.... I'm gonna find another you

You take your sweaters
You take your time
You might have your reasons but you will never have my rhymes
I'm gonna sing my way away from blue
.... I'm gonna find another you

When i was your lover
No one else would do
If i'm forced to find another i hope she looks like you
Yeah and she's nicer too

So go on baby
Make your little get away
My pride will keep me company
And you just gave yours all away
Now i'm gonna dress myself for two
Once for me and once for someone new
I'm gonna do somethings you wouldn't let me do
.... I'm gonna find another you

Happy Expiration..

This month officially marks my fourth year of blogging.. what can i say? four years of compiled episodes, epiphanies, free verse thoughts, spoken word and much morse crazy shit that i can't even think about anymore.. haha! well.. after four years, still.. CAN IT BE ALL THAT SIMPLE?!... now i can say Yes it can. This past four years has taught me alot of crazy shit about this so called life of ours but just a few months back (or maybe i just realized it just a few months back but i've been doing it all along) that we can refuse not to make our life complicated and adapt to what's there in front of us so that everything would be straight.. i haven't got the whole thing about this out of my head yet so feel free to ask or email me about this shit..

Anyway, haven't blogged for almost a month.. why? blame my playstation and Final Fanatsy 12. Yeah, Yeah, i know i know.. there's too much angst in my blog but i become a dork in front of the freakin Playstation! Whatever!.. say what you want.. if it's a good game, i'm playing it! hahaha moving on.. i still refuse to get a job, planning to postpone it to after christmas but i'll be passing my resume around starting tomorrow..

well.. that's it for now.. hope i blog tomorrow..

Bumming with 260 Gigs of Memory and the Semi - Family Reunion..

A week after my well deserved march on the stage of PICC.. i am bored to my skull. I'm seriously in need of something to do other than hang around the house online and trip with the Playstation. One of these days, i swear to God i might just take up Tai-Chi and knitting just so that i could eliminate this boredom.

...

Eversince the passing of Tita The atmosphere here in the residence has been dismal. I don't blame anyone though, i guess it's just really like that. And because of which i can't bare to stay home for no more than 10 hours. I mean, I literally just stay out the porch and sound trip just so that i can get out of this murky environment. I can't take this no more.. no disrespect or anything.. just keeping it real.

So what's been up lately?! 32 hours left on my internship, so i'm guessing that's less than a week. I'm just a bit worried since i got used to working that, what will i be doing in the next few weeks right before graduation? hmmm.. i can imagine the boredom and the countless hours on the tube playing Playstation. Sheesh.. this is a good thing right? i mean, getting used to working and shit?! oh well, c'est la vie..

ok.. i'm out of words.. till next time

A Farewell and So Far So Good..

"Everyone must leave something behind when he dies. A child or a book or a painting or a house or a wall built or a pair of shoes made. Or a garden planted. Something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go when you die, and when people look at that tree or that flower you planted, you're there.
It doesn't matter what you do, he said, so long as you change something from the way it was before you touched it into something that's like you after you take your hands away. The difference between the man or woman who just cuts lawns and a real gardener is in the touching, he said. The lawn cutter might just as well not have been there at all; the gardener will be there a lifetime."

"You will be missed Tita Maripi.."

---

So far so good, 80 hours left in my internship and i'm on my way to the stage of Philippine International Convention Center's Plenary Hall, I just hope i don't do anything stupid to jinx that. Anyway, since i'm in my last few hours of kitchen duty, i am already being assigned to do advanced things like, making Genache and Italian Cream Filling in the Pastry Kitchen, Taragon Gravy and Hollandaise Sauces and such in the Hot kitchen to plating for functions with 200 people or more in it. Tiring yeah? but this is what i do best and i love what i do, and i live for this shit. It's actually an honor to be able to do these things since i'm just an intern. I guess i have already gained their trust towards kitchen work.

On other things, Happy Birthday Banana Pancakes, Miguel Herrera, Therese Castro, Chef Tina Velasco and Kevin Choy!! To another dramatic year to all of you!!

Sunday, September 03, 2006

I sincerly ask for your prayers. My tita Maripi is currently in the Asian Hospital's ICU, suffering from a stroke. A hemmorage in the brain was the cause of all this. At this point only your prayers and miracle could save her.. Please..

Rewind..

Two weeks has passed since my last blog entry.. Surprisingly, nothing blogworthy has happened. Sad ain't it?! so far, it's been work - school - home - work - school - home for me. Working in a hotel can really be a pain in the ass.. but that's what i'm trained for.. so i guess i just have to stick with it, and besides, this is what i want.. or what i think i want.. anyway, i've been in the front desk of The Bellevue Manila for the past three weeks and so far, so good. I acutally like it there, though the it's a bit demanding since i have to work six times a week. Moving on, since then i've encountered different kinds of people and based on that.. it's still fucking Koreans i hate the most! They are the rudest, most undisciplined and most obnoxious people i've encountered in the freaking world! i hope they all move back to their country! my lord they are like fucking mosquitos here in the Philippines! and worse is they act as if this is their country! My god! at least show some respect! Further more.. my next blog is probably in the next two weeks since starting next week i'll be busy so Ciao!!

The Bianconeri Moves to Serie B with a 30 point Deduction

"Unheard-of"

In light of the sentence decreed by the Commissione d’Appello Federale, which has proposed the demotion of Juventus to Serie B with the deduction of 30 points, Chairman Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has made the following statement: "It is unheard-of. We expected a balanced sentence from a court comprised of jurists of such esteem, both in its form and its content. Evidently our expectations were misplaced. The sentences signal a desire to attack the companies with excessive severity. We do not understand the differential legal treatment applied to the four cases under consideration. As the facts have clearly demonstrated, the episodes relating to Juventus under the observation of the sporting tribunal are without question comparable to those with which the other teams are charged. The difference being that in our case only two matches have been called into question. Therefore in this moment our priority is to look after the interests of our fans and those of the minor share holders, and we will do this straight away, appealing to the Consiglio Federale"

Source: Juventus.com

This is just too much, and from my point of view and it is not right. To be fair, the other teams 3 teams involved should have a sentence as grave as this. Either way though.. FORZA JUVE!

So Brazil is out.. we'll so much for the sixth star on their logo! Anyway, i still got the Azzurri who trashed the host nation last night with a 2 - 0 win at extra time, thanks to Grosso and yours truly Alessandro Del Piero! Lovely goals by both players dissipated the dream of the host nation Germany.. Better luck next time i guess.

Copa Mundial

As for the World Cup, the teams i'm rooting for are doing good so far. Brazil won their last game against Croatia with a 1 - 0 score with Kaka being the scorer. Their performance was quite disappointing considering they are on their title defense and with their line up being the strongest amongst everyone. Major improvements on their defense and attacking should be done especially with their next oppenent, the uprising Australian team. Italy so far is is doing great with their 2 - 0 win against Ghana, Iaquinta and Pirlo being the goal scorers. Coming in with 19 international games without defeat, winning 11 and drawing 8 since their last defeat last October 2004 against Slovenia, the wishful US team will need not just fan support but major prayers in order to win against them later today..

TEAMS TO WATCH OUT FOR:
Argentina Netherlands Czech Republic England Germany Spain

ONE WAY ENTRY: PART 2

It's been two weeks since One Way and so far until now it has not yet faded into everyone's memory. The hang over of that 7 month production still lives. Hope it doesn't die. First thing's first.. I'd like to thank everyone who's was involved in the production. Without you guys this dream of five writers wouldn't be possible.. A million thank you's.. but most especially to the man up in the clouds who's with the stars.. thank you for this opportunity.. I'd love to make this entry sound as cheezy as cheeze can be but.. what else is there to say?! You guys as the shit.. Kudos for the good work... I got nothing but love for you guys..

To the youth... ONE WAY.. That was our story... PEACE!

*Cling Cling Cling* and I heard 'em say..

So it's my first week back.. so far so good. Like what I always say "Can't complain as much as I want to". Anyway, so far i have no complains about school other that i have no practi spot yet but it's all cool.. I'm graduating on October. Other than that, today was the first full run through of the play and to tell you the truth, i wasn't expecting it to be really good (Good Job guys). Further more.. what else can i say?! Everything is peachy north of the border?! Maybe.. i just don't want to talk about it no more.. i got better things to worry about.. "I'll just be here for her whenever i'm needed.. but other than that, i'll just be doing my own thing" because thats how it is i guess.. don't want to elaborate and make this entry sound mellon collie.. it's mellon collie as it is.. hehe.. Peace.. a little later and another blog entry will appear..

DAY 25: The Last Day

The day was spent downtown San Francisco, where we basically just hung around the Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. Actually, everybody wasn't in the mood to do anything today, i just forced them to head for the city so that i'd be able to go to Golden Gate Park.. hehehe. Everyone was just so tired and eager to go home already that, they just wanted to complete the final items on their shopping lists and hang in the house the whole day. I was so surprised to hear Mom actually decline when Kuya Louie asked her if she wanted to head out to the outlet which was a couple of minutes away from where we were. hehehe..

Anyway, so this is my last day here in the states.. i'm heading back to the good old Philippines in like five hours time. Honestly, i really want to go home already, but i'm just not so sure if i'm ready to face what's waiting for me back home. I mean, first up we have "One Way".. I have no problem with the production.. i know we'll do fine.. it's just that, for the past few weeks, i've been chatting with some people from the crew and some from the production team and besides the play's progress not up to quota, from what i've been hearing, the everybody's attitude towards each other are getting worse. Everything is getting to their heads and this is not good, especially the playdate being two weeks from now. I don't know how it came to this.. before i left, we had a forum about this since we already had this problem during the early stages of this production and i was actually confident that that would keep eveybody's head straight and their feet on the ground.. I guess it didn't. Oh well, C'est la vie, i'm heading back to the Chaos of the "One Way".. Whoopie.. this is going to be a wild ride.

Next i got some school stuff to worry about. My last term as a student is about to start on the 22nd.. Well, actually i've got not a lot of problems regarding that, infact i got motivation to actually get the job done which is "I have to go back here as soon as possible and get my papers fixed legaly because................!" hahahahahaha!! so far that motivation is way over the Motivation gauge.. i just hope it doesn't run out (i don't think it will).

So.. there you go.. this is where my trip ends. My next blog will already be back home (complaining about the weather). Hehe.. so what have i learned these three weeks?! Well.. for one thing.. i have a reason to go back here.. well.. north of the border that is. And, lastly life here is great... though life in back home is still the shiznit! hahaha! ok.. i'm out of Corona.. well.. Adios!! So Far.. All Good... hehehe

Alcohol Consumed this trip:

Corona's = 17 bottles
Heiniken's = 7 bottles
Some Mexican Beer (i think the name is Sol)= 5 bottles
Alexander Keith's = 1 huge ass Glass
Coor's Light = 2 bottles
MGD = 4 cans
Jose Cuervo = 5 shots

Weather Report for tomorrow:

SCORCHING!!

DAY 22 - 24: Westcoast Roadtrip

We started the road trip last Tuesday to Bass lake and made our way to Yosemite National Park and to our last stop in Monterey Bay which was today. The past week i didn't really expect to enjoy my stay here but so far so good.. The whole road trip was about nature and all that.. which is actually good since the past few weeks i've been either in the City or in Suburbia, and it's a nice change of scenery and a shit load of fresh air.. hehe

Bass Lake

It's nothing special really, just that our Cabin was a few walks to the lake which is just spectacular at nice since it's all moonlit and all. How'd i know? well, that's where i had a few of my yosi breaks the night we stayed there. Ok, how nice is it?! ok, 12 am.. the moon's reflection is in the lake and because of that the whole lake is illuminated by it and the backgrund are the snowcapped mountains while the coyotes are howling.. hmm.. lovely.. (wishing i had someone with me that time)

Yosemite National Park

And I thought i'd only see this on the Discovery Channel! haha! The park is huge and words just can't describe how lovely it is. The El Capitan (The World's biggest Rock), Cathedral Rock and Sentinel Rocks are just huge and breath taking! No to mention the Yosemite Falls and the Bridal Veil falls. Too bad we didn't get to see the half dome and the Giant Sequoia's! oh well, i'll be back.. definately.. Anyway, the place was just Lovely i just have to say, i'm lucky to be one of billions of people to have the right to say "I've been to Yosemite and it's was just great" (pictures to follow)

Monterey Bay

Right after Yosemite, we headed straight for Monterey Bay in which we stayed at this cabin right beside the Beach (Perfect, Beach right after the Mountains.. hehehe). The place was just like the cover of the Incubus Album "Morning View". It was just perfect.. The waves were huge and i mean, more than footers and they even curl up at the shore. (pictures to follow) Anyway, the last time i was in Monterey was seven years ago and so for nothing drastic has changed especially at Cannery Row.. but it's still as pretty as always. This part of the trip is actually for Dad since this is where you can find Pebble Beach (the golf course). Anyway, we passed through the 17 mile drive where the Spansh Links on the Bay, Poppy Hills, Spy Glass Hill and The Lone Cypress are found (they are golf courses).. Dad was like in toys are us awhile ago.. hehehehe

Anyway, it's our last day here in the State tomorrow.. so far so good.. i can't wait to get home.. anyway, till tomorrow

Monday, May 08, 2006

DAY 21: I left my Heart in Willowbrook

First night here in Frisco in Kuya Louie's house. So far.. errrm... so good?! i don't know.. maybe. I haven't been here more than 12 hours and I miss Chicago already. I'd rather be there right now messing around with Tj or taking Mikee for a walk while smoking.. And yeah the weather here?! YETCH!! it's burning! well not as compared to Manila but i'm not ready to feel heat yet! hahaha well anyway, i don't have a lighter, though i have a whole pack of Winston Lights 100's.. shit.. this is gonna be a long night..

On Tomorrow's agenda.. Yosemite.. i might not blog for the next two days.. so there.

Temperature

19 - 24 (Scorching.. Not yet please!!)

DAY 20: The Last Day in Chi Town

Today i'm writting my entry a bit early compared to my previous entries. Tomorrow at 9, i'm flying to the west coast and heading for Frisco. Honestly, i don't really want to go there.. I'd rather stay here and spend my last week here. I really love it here, though it's a bit lonely.. Ok, the past few days i've been wishing that i'd be home.. but the only reason why i really want to head home is because of my last term of school and the One Way production which from what i'm hearing is progressing yeah?! but with a shit load of problems, Personal problems and a lot of technical ones.. But honestly, if i didn't have these reasons i would't really bother heading home.. i'd actully stay here and get a job..

Anyway, today's Madeleine's 1st Communion.. i wasn't on the actual ceremony and stuff since i consumed a shit load of Corona's last night and i had a really good night's sleep! hahaha i was at the reception though. We had it a PF Chang's this really expensive and overrated restaurant.. and after that we the people in the reception headed straight for the house and played Majong.. until now..hahaha!

anyway.. back to packing.. i was supposed to call the girl, but i guess she's not home again.. oh well.. C'est la Vie..

Temperature

5 - 15 (Really Nice!! hehehe)

DAY 19: York Town, Linen's and Things

The Rents, Wowie and Me are just finishing up our shopping before heading for Frisco this Sunday. Bad timing actually.. when i'm starting to get used to the life here in Chicago, now we have to leave and head for my cousins boring pad! sheesh! Well, so far the trip to Yosemite is something to look forward to.. but other that, i'd rather stay here, be in Toronto or actually go home already.. Hayy..

Anyways, tomorrow is Madeleine's First Communion.. Nice!! we going to have lunch at lovely Chinese Restaurant. hehehe ok.. off to bed.. until tomorrow..

Friday, May 05, 2006

DAY 18: Aurora

So it's my last few days here and we're heading for Yosemite. Don't know what to expect really, though from the pictures and from what i've been hearing it's a really beautiful place.. I just hope i don't get dissapointed and i hope they sell cigarettes there since i'm almost out! haha

Anyway, the day was spent in an outlet in Aurora. We almost bought the outlet out when Sieg and Aby was still with us! but today, we were just going around looking for a cheap ice cream maker and we actually found one, Cuisinart that's around $100 with a free coffee grinder. Well, actually that was our only agenda.. not until we saw that Aeropostale was having a sale.. hahahaha!

So.. from what i heard from my Mom, tomorrow we're again, heading for Oakbrook.. Sheesh! I was kinda hoping we'd spend the day in the city or something.. Anyway, till tomorrow..

Thursday, May 04, 2006

DAY 17: Up Town Chicago, Downtown Chicago and the Tornado

Me and Wowie spent the whole day Downtown and Up town Chicago, basically walking around "The Magnificent Mile" (Michigan Avenue), Navy Pier, hanging beside the Chicago river and a little around the Northwestern Campus. It's really nice to walk around this city during this time (Spring) while you got the Dave Matthews Band, a little Mayonnaise and Cynthia Alexander on your Ipod. The Music just gives your long stroll around the city a good vibe see? You don't really notice how far you've already walk until you take out the earphones, look back and realize that you've already gone 10 to 15 blocks (The City blocks are huge! believe me). Anyway, we missed The Millenium Park and Solider field.. maybe tomorrow or Saturday.. depends on what i do tomorrow.

Anyway, My Parents, Tita Mameng and Nay just got home from Graceland full of Elvis goodies and a tornado story. Apparently, on their way back here in Chicago while they were still in Missouri they were being chased by a tornado. Well.. not literally but every so often the radio station would be interrupted by a tornado warning heading for their way and before exiting Missouri they saw the havoc of the tornado that just missed them. NIIIIICE... hehehe thank God i wasn't there with them and thank God they're safe..

Anyhoo, 4 more days and i'm off to Frisco.. that's the last chapter of this Trip.. thank God.. i want to go home already!!

Wednesday, May 03, 2006

DAY 16: Graceland and One Way

This afternoon, My Parents (actually just my Mom, Dad was steady about it), Tita Mameng and Nay left for Memphis to visit Graceland dissapointed since Me and Wowie decided to stay here in Chicago. First of all, we were kinda tired of another road trip, Second, we don't like Elvis Presley.. Period.. So, either way, we didn't really mind. And it's not a major loss for us not to be able to visit that place. If they were going to Liverpool England to visit the Beatles, why not but that's Elvis! I don't even know any of his songs, actually i do but i couldn't care less.. so tomorrow it's downtown with Wowie and Wicked the play probably or a trip at the house of blues.. whatever happens i'm just thankful i'm not in Graceland.

I was chatting with Anton awhile ago about One Way to check on what's been happening back home. So far it's the same bullshit.. Now, it's not about the script.. now it's the play title. They changed the title without even asking me.. yeah, so what if i'm here in Chicago, it's not as if you'll go through hell just to email me?! just to ask eventhough i know if i say no they'll still push through with their Goddamn decision... Tss! whatever!! fuck it!! Thinking about one way will be on hold till i get back.. or maybe i won't think about it no more, since "MY JOB IS DONE ALREADY..".. tsss.. whatever.. bahala na kayo jan!

DAY 15: The Chicago Dog

Literally, we were in the house the whole day watching the tube and rotting in front of the Game Cube with Starwars as the game. Well, we went out to buy Chicago style hot dogs at Portillo's but that's basically it.. Tomorrow we have to do something or i'll snap and steal the car and head north of the border.. sheesh!

DAY 13 and 14: Party at the House and Boling Brook

So Sieg and Aby are already home.. Good for them, i want to go home already, because of the play and all.. and it's getting pretty lonely here. Nothing to do and basically it's just Me, My Brother Wowie, My new pack of Newports and My Football.

So yesterday, Sieg and Aby headed back to Manila. And there was a party here for Tita Raquel's and Madeleine's Birthday.. nice. It was alright i guess, typical Filipinos in abroad gathering.. nothing big. Though they asked us from back home a lot of questions about what's been happening and stuff. Guess they relly miss the Philippine Islands.. And yeah, i drove Tj, William and Jenny along with Wowie to watch Scary Movie 4 at Loes at Boling Brook. That's like from my house to Sucat exit, not that far really.. That's what happened yesterday.. oh i called the girl yesterday, too bad she was at work and i got to talk to her mom.. nnnnice!! hhehe

Today was spent mostly at home. Church in the morning and a $30 per head lunch at Benihana's, and football at the most fucked up pitch i've ever been in.. nothing big.. the sky was a bit gloomy.. the sun didn't really come out today and it was raining most of the time. Dinner's was at Jenny's house at Boling Brook. Deep Dish Pizza, some Chinese Food and a movie.. nothing big.. really dragging...

As you can see.. as the days pass.. it's gets dragging and dragging by the second.. I wish i went home with Sieg and Aby.. sheesh!!

DAY 12: Another Mall and Hooters

So another day spent on the Fox valley mall.. HAY... they just can't get enough of them damn malls. Today is Sieg's and Aby's last day here and they're heading back home (lucky them). For some reason, i really really want to head back home now.. like what i said yesterday, it's just getting to damn lonely here.. and after they leave, it's just gonna be me and wowie left with my parents. I ain't got no problem with that, it's just that it's better if we're complete.

Anyway, after dinner we headed straight for Hooters. Hot chicks, hot chicken, cold beer and hot waitresses. That's just a nice way to end an evening. Anyway, i'll blog again tomorrow... nothing really happened today.. PEACE!

DAY 11: Downtown Chicago and The American Girl Store

The day was spent roaming around downtown Chicago along Michigan Avenue and having lunch at Goodlife located at the Water Tower with Tito Razil. I left the house wearing shorts and a huge jacket, though i wish i wore pants! It was so Fuckin' cold downtown compared to here in Westmont! Though Nay already warned me about the sudden weather changes downtown, of course knowing me, i wouldn't listen and just say "No it's not".. now i got a taste of my hardheadedness.. if there's such word. Anyway, during our stroll downtown we encountered this store called "The American Girl Store", so far this has been the weirdest store i've ever been in. From the moment i stepped inside, i knew i was lost and there was something wrong. The 3 storey store was for dolls.. i'm not exaggerating, the store was for dolls.. Doll Cafe, Doll Hair salon and the weirdest.. Doll Hospital where there was an actual emegency room! HOLY SHIT!! talk about doll obsession, i could still remember my dad's expression "ANO BA YAN! THE THINGS PEOPLE DO TO EARN MONEY! AND IT ACTUALLY WORKS!" i was so surprised to actually see people obsess with their dolls as if they were their kids! yeah, there were kids on the store but majority of the people there were middle aged ladies and old women.. sheesh!! anyway, kanya kanyang trip lang naman yan eh!

Tomorrow, it's Sieg's and Aby's last day here in the states since Aby's got summer classes and Sieg's got Thesis. How i wish i was heading home with them. It's getting pretty lonely here, especially when you know you're only a few hundred miles away from the person you want to hang with.. at least back home i'll be busy with the play and all, and i wouldn't be thinking of the Girl that much... hay.. buhay.. anyways, what else is there?!

Temperature:
Around 10 downtown plus below 10 winds.. (it would be ok if i wasn't wearing shorts)

DAY 10: LORDSTROM and NORD AND TAYLOR in Oakbrook

This is another shopping day for the family.. except for Me and Wowie (i forgot to mention, Wowie doesn't like shopping too). So the whole family was going around Oakbrook mall, looking for something to waste their money on while Me and Wowie drool over the new Jordans at Footlocker and laugh at the cocatians around us while calling them names in Tagalog. Yes, we are losers or maybe we were just extremely bored.. you decide (we're not losers). Anyway, I bought a football yesterday just so that i won't get too bored here at home and just so that i can burn the "American Fat" I gained these past few weeks. I gained 8 pounds.. i need that burned cabon! Moving on.. Corona's and Heiniken's have been my late night buddies these past few nights since i'm getting insomia attacks just like when i'm back home. So far, they haven't been helping me.. just yesterday, i ended up i think finishing 6 out of a 12 pack of Heiniken's yet i was still wide awake.. and i had to walk a mile to buy stoges since i ran out! oh yeah.. that was around 3 am.. just so that you know.. i'm not an alcoholic.. it's just that there's nothing to do here at night and we just bought a shit load of beer, so might as well just consume it right?! hehehe...

On football:
Zidane Retires, Barcelona and Arsenal on the Champion's League Final and a New Madrid President?! how come so much shit happened and it's just 3 days i haven't looked at football news.. what the hell?!

On Zinedine Zidane:
I've never been an fan, but he's got my respect. He's still considered the best player in the world. But i guess it's just his time to sit down and let the kids play. He's still got it in him, he's still Zidane.. he's still has the skill and stuff.. but i guess his decision on retiring after this season is for the best, so that he can retire at his prime and still be remembered as the best player in the world.

On Barcelona and Arsenal:
Two of my hatest teams in European football meet on the Champions league final in Paris. I was kinda hoping Milan and Villareal, though i hate Milan as much as the other guy and in know Milan will eat the Yellow Subs (Villareal) alive when they meet in the final but it's better than the Gunners (Arsenal) and the Catalans (Barcelona). i don't think i'll watch the final this seaason, beacuse of the teams in it.. but if i were to choose.. i'd rather Barcelona win than Arsenal.. Keep the Trophy in Spain!

On Madrid:
I don't even know if i want to comment on this.. It's been a Real Madrid tradition not to have a coach last for more than a season or sometimes just a season for their team. I don't know if they're planning to start another one with their presidents. Fernando Martin.. less than a year.. ok fine.. three months.. hay ewan...

DAY 9: The reason why it's called "The Windy City"

Yesterday, the weather was alright.. i mean, the weather was perfect for the people here since it's just really cold here. The temp was playing on the high 19's and low 14's.. that was during the day.. so everybody happy.. when the sun set.. the temperature dropped to 3 and the wind was just deadly. Me and Sieg went out for a yosi break, but we just couldn't handle the goddang wind! i think it was atleast 5 kph with the temp of 0. EASY LANG PARE!! hahaha! we just ditched the sticks and he went up and i stayed downstairs.. hehehe (chat with Joni, Anton, Gian and Krizia). And knowing me, pasaway ako eh! i just had to try and go out again! hahaha!! now i have a cold.. toasty! hehehe

Today we went to Schamburg.. yeah, it's another mall.. and yes.. shopping for Mom, Sieg and Aby.. Me, Wowie and Dad? we were just in Starbucks.. just hanging.. just watching the 3 shopaholics in our family, run around the mall.. nice noh?! anyway, nothing really happened today.. well.. other than missing the girl.. nothing exciting happened.. hehehe hope something comes up tomorrow..

Temperature:
4 - 5 (wind is 2)

DAY 8: And again, back to the Windy City

As i kissed and hugged her on the train station of Yonge and Bloor yesterday, before me and the girl parted ways and not to see each other for the next few months or years, all i said was "I'll come back for you, I promise" which i know i'll do. I may be exaggerating but that was the lonliest and the longest train ride i've ever experienced in my whole life so far. The fifteen minute ride from Yonge and Bloor to Kennedy Station and the transfer from Kennedy to Lawrence East Station felt like forever.. Maybe the saying "you'll miss the person more, when you're with the person rather than you're not" doesn't apply in this scenario. Though I wish it did.. because it killed me that i knew that when i get back to my aunt's house in Scarborough, she'll still be twenty to thirty miles away, and i could still get to her if i wanted, during that night. We talked before i actually left.. yeah?! but i guess it's just not enough, i just had to work with what i had, and depressngly, all i had was my aunt's phone that night. tsss.. *shakes my head* Ok, just so that you know, i'm not obsessed with the girl.. it's just that, i like the girl, and how i wish she lives back home, or she were back home or she's going back home soon.. there you go i said it. And spending four days with her, just won't cut it.

Anyway, so now, i'm back in Chicago. Back to chatting, emailing and texting. How i wish i was going back to the Philippines tomorrow. At least i know back there, she's gonna be 10,000 miles away and i won't be able to do anything other than text, chat and email. But being here and being just 500 miles away, i know 1 out of 100 chances, my dad will allow me to go back there. Ok, so there's my story.. I don't know, but the last four days was just like a dream that i never expected to have.. i know from who i am, i don't deserve good dreams.. i don't deserve something as surreal as this. So to the owner of the sky.. thank you.. i really appreciate it. I owe you big time.

To the Girl: Missing you already, i'm making the polvoron tomorrow so i can send it to you and your mom as soon as possible. and yeah, did i mention i miss you already?!

Temperature
23 - 26 (not that cold but tomorrow looks promising)

DAY 7: Say Goodbye

"I'll Come Back for you.. I promise.."

Sunday, April 23, 2006

DAY 6: The Countrymen, The Dinner and The Piece

Of course, i had to spend at least one whole day with aunt Vicky.. So what did we do?! ok, typical aunt and visiting nephew stuff. i don't want to elaborate on that, it's just too boring.. though we saw Sarah Geronimo in this function since we had a lunch at this All filipino restaurant, and of course there was a shit load of Filipinos. I just realized how cocky filipinos are when they get to another country, i'm not saying all.. but majority of the people.. they get too goddamn cocky that it's irritating already. Very very embarrasing towards people from foregners i just have to say.. it's not that they aren't cocky too, it's just that Filipinos should keep it real and show the other people how nice we really are.

So, anyway.. after that whole fiasco with the country men and aunt Vicky. I asked to be dropped off at the nearest bus stop so that i could go on and get to the TTC (the train) and see the Girl. After a few stops and a few changes on the train, and a half an hour wait.. The girl arrived.. and we went and had dinner at Richtree (this is where she worked). So.. Good food, good meat, and good company. Perfect.. so, there.. i was a scrub tonight, since she didn't want me to go home alone (because i got lost last night remember).. She had to drop me off.. sheesh.. yeah ok i was a scrub so sue me. So just before she got a cab.. I told her my piece.

Ok, so i just had to be honest with her.. so... i told her everything.. everything meaning.. the reason why i'm here.. and the reason why.. __. Just that.. it's up to fate now... Peace.. tomorrow never dies..

Today's Temperature:

5 - 10 (chilly)

DAY 5: Downtown Toronto and the Cabrons

So, i really did push through with not going to Quebec. For some reason, they didn't look that dissapointed, but i'm sure to get it good when we get back to Illinois. So far.. so good! it's all good.

Anyway, so me and the girl spent the whole day together.. literally. We had lunch at this really nice Japanese restaurant (i've never paid so much for sushi in my life!) and watched a movie in the Paramount. Silent Hill sucks by the way, "So Bootleg na yan" haha! Anyway, after everything, we went to this staff party of her's. Full of Mexicans.. i've never seen so much Mexicans packed in one house i'm telling you. There was one from Costa Rican, one half Portugese and half Greek and two filipinos (that's me and the girl). But other than that, it's either Mexican or Canadian. I've never heard so much Cabron's in my life! hahahaha!! Anyway, after a few beers and a quick stop at the local Korean restaurant, the girl forces me to take a cab home... ok.. Cab + 20 miles to Scarborough + Muslim Driver = $40 and as an added bonus, i got lost.. hahha! so basically i just got in..

On tomorrow's agenda, she's got work, so dinner and maybe we'll hang out a bit.. and then Sunday, my last day.. i'll probably go all out.. whatever that means.. Anyways, off to bed.. i think my typing is waking them up.. PEACE!

Temperature:
9 - 17 ok lang.. pero gusto ko talaga ng snow eh!

DAY 4: 10 hours and a Riot across the border

Ok.. so i'm in Toronto already, nice one. 10 hours worth of road trip, 3 stated and a counrty.. what a day what a day anyway. My previous plans of extending here were cancelled due to the guilt trip Mom, Dad and Ninang Vicky gave me. Ok so now i'll be here for the weekend, and i'll have to make the most out of my time. Now, so far.. errm.. not so good.. steady lang. They're dissapointed at me since i don't want to go to Quebec with them and they already paid for my ticket ($120 man!!). Ok, i'm sorry for that, but i got my own reasons why i'm doing this.. i'm not saying that i got my shit straight.. what i'm saying is, this is one of those shit in my life that i just have to do.. make or break. Dad and Mom, i'll make it up to you guys, i swear to God... PROMISE..

Anyway, i'm meeting the girl in a few hours.. ok that's nice.. i'll leave it to that.. i'll update tomorrow. PEACE!!

DAY 3: Chelsea outlet and The Trip across the border

Today was a shopping spree for all of us. For some reason, Dad was somewhat generous and just us (his children) a go signal to use Aby's credit card for shopping. And of course, even though i don't really like shopping.. i knew i shouldn't let this opportunity pass! i don't really know what happened.. his mood suddenly just changed! oh well.. hahaha! anyway, so the whole day was spent on that outlet... and i'm not exaggerating when i say the whole day, i really mean the whole day.. 11:00 am till 9:00 pm.. fo' shizzle! tiring.. but it's alright.. another day wasted on shopping...

In a couple of hours, we'll be driving to Toronto. It's a 9 hour drive without stop overs and probably 10 or more with stop overs. So, after arriving, they're going to Quebec.. and i'm staying behind so i'll be able to see her. It's not actually imperative for me to see her, but after seeing her last christmas and chatting with her for 4 months to today, my inside is telling me that i have to see her since i'm aleady here... cool.. hope everybody understands.. Everybody that counts that is... my, oh my..

So far so good... though i'm shivering for some reason... i need a cig.. catch you guys on the flip side..

Temperature today:
Fair.. high 21 and low 15.. HASSSLE!!!

DAY 2: Fox Valley mall and an argument

So far.. errm.. so good?! maybe, the day was spent on the Fox Valley mall. This is where the real shopping begins.. for them maybe.. for me, just like yesterday i was just there for the ride since shopping really isn't my thing. we haven't been there for at least 2 hours and i see my sister already holding something. haha!! nice!! All I can say is the mall was really small.. and when i say small.. i mean puny, the freakin' parking lot was bigger than the whole mall. If the lot had walls, i probably get lost there other than on the mall. Anyway, the peak of the whole day was when we discussed about my Canadian plans.. so far no good.. they want me to stay there with them for 4 days and deny me with my extension wishes so that i could spend time with her, because of what my dad thinks of immigration on my way back here to Chicago. Of course, i disagreed with them and gave them the "i'll be fine Dad and Mom" speech which i'm not sure if it worked or not. So right now, I can't honestly say that they agree with me already but because of my aunt's endorsment on it's easy to get back to the border.. i think it's going to be all good... i hope.. anyway, that was the day.. so far.. errm... so good?! probably... tomorrow i'm off to an 8 hour roadtrip... NICE!!! hehehe... i'll try to update as soon as i get there... PEACE!!!

Mon's Shopping List

DAY 1 : Windy City

So far, so good. I woke up to the smell of Mcgriddles and "Mc"hashbrowns in the kitchen. Apparently, Sieg and Wowie went to the Mcdonald's on the next corner to grab something for breakfast. Nice!! hehe So, after a breakfast and a few games of NBA Street on the cube, we headed straight for downtown to scan the whole of Michigan Avenue in search for places to shop for. Basically, today was like a scouting day.. we were scouting for good places to shop, though we kinda know this place already like the back our hands.. i guess there ain't nothing wrong with double checking.. hehe..

Actually, that's what they did.. yeah, i was with them alright, but i was just there to enjoy the walk around the streets of Down Town Chicago and sharing a few quarters with beggars as an act of public service. hahaha! they were there to shop.. i was there to walk around.. nice noh? hahaha!! but seriously, awhile ago i wanted to tell them to go ahead and just leave me and i'll just take the train going home.. but knowing my mom and dad, they would freak and say "that's just Crazy" hahaha!! oh well C'est la vie! anyway, till tomorrow.. hope something interesting turns up...

i saw something written in nike town awhile ago with Michael Jordan's picture in it dunking.. and there was a caption..

"They made rules and laws to be followed like in any other game.. but gravity isn't one of them.."

nice!! inspiring....

Today's Shopping

- Airport Card for Aby's Mac
- Cd's and DVD's

Weather
From morning till evening the temperature was from 8 - 10 C.. and the wind was i think 2 C.. cool!! literally!! haha

Back to the Windy City

I wasn't able to blog about leaving.. so i guess here it is. Temperature 5, wind around 0 - 1... Really nice! hehe.. what a drastic change or scenery and weather from the scorching heat in Manila! hehehe PERFFFFECT!!!

This trip, aside from being a panic button from the reality of being in Manila and aside from meeting Mia later this week, is sort of a wake up call from what's under my nose and what's not.. Job opportunities i mean. I wouldn't mind getting a mediocre job here in Chicago as long as it doesn't concern sweeping the streets! hahaha!! (sayang naman degree ko!!) but for the first time, i'm actually considering getting a job as a cook in one of the places here.. ok take note.. a cook.. not a chef!.. hey! you gotta start somewhere right?! so there you go.. so far that's what's been up... and yeah.. I DID MENTION ABOUT BEING FUCKING COLD HERE RIGHT?! WELL.. I'LL SAY IT AGAIN!!! GOD DAMN IN'TS COLD HERE!!! HAHAHA!! WHOOPIE!! the whole family is complaining about the weather but fuck that!! hahaha!! i love it here!!

Ok.. Tomorrows Agenda:

- Mom and Aby is going shopping.. (YETCH!!)
- I'M GOING TO NIKE TOWN! (HAHAHAHA)
- I'M GOING TO FOOT LOCKER! (HAHAHAHA)
- Wowie is scavenger hunting for cheap guitar parts.. (errrm... nice!)
- Sieg is ummm.... ewan ko...
- Dad.... hmm.. is gonna pay for everything?!(hahaha!)

PEACE!! TILL TOMORROW NIGHT! WHEN DAY 1 REALLY STARTS!!

Florentino Perez Resigns as Madrid President

“I've had a wonderful six years here, but thinking of the greater good, I submitted my irreversible resignation. I am high spirited, but after Sunday's match I felt a change was necessary and this time it was my turn. To put it simply, when a player scores a goal and his teammates don't congratulate him, it means I'm doing something wrong and rectifying is the trait of wise men.”

“We had tried to correct a situation that had been veering off course from the sporting aspect we desired. We've replaced several coaches. When everything translates into the team's lack of spirit, like we witnessed on Sunday, it means I've made a mistake somewhere. The players are confused because what's most important here is the Club, not them or the Directors. That's the message I wanted to get across and there was no better of doing so than having the President, me, leaving.”

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU FREAKIN' SAYING MAN?! THEY NEED YOU OUT THERE!! NOW WHEN THEY NEED YOU THE MOST YOU LEAVE?! WHAT THE HELL KIND OF EXAMPLE ARE YOU SETTING!!!

I Wish I could go deep in the zone,
And lift the spirits of the world with the words with in this song, And
I Wish I could teach a soul to fly,
Take away the pain out cha hands and help you hold them high,
And we gotta pray, all we got is faith.
Instead of thinking about who gonna die to day,
The Lord is gonna help you feel better, so you ain’t gotta cry today.
Sit at the light so long,
And then we gotta move straight forward, cuz we fight so strong,
So when right go wrong,
Just say a little prayer, get ya thoughts together, life goes on
I HOPE..

I wish I could teach the world to sing,
Watch the music and have ‘em trippin of the joy I bring,
I wish that we could hold hands,
Listen instead of dissin lessons from a grown man, And
I Wish we could keep achieving wonders,
See the vision of the world through the eyes of Stevie Wonder,
I Wish that DOC could scream again
And bullets could reverse so Pac and Biggie breathe again,
Then one day they could speak again,
I wish that we only saw good news every time we look at CNN,
I wish that we can never get the blues
Wish I can bring back the people that died, Eddie to,
I wish that we could walk a path, stay doin the right thing
Hustle hard so the kids maintain up in God's game,
I HOPE..

Wish the earth wasn’t so apocalyptic,
I try to spread my message to the world the best way I can give it,
We can make it always be optimistic,
If you don’t listen gotta live my life the best way I can live it,
I pray for justice when we go to church,
Wish it was all good so the country never even went to war,
Why can’t we kick it and just get em on,
And in the famous words of Mr. King “Why can’t we all just get along”,
You can be wrong if it’s you doubting,
With the faith of a mustard seed you can move mountains,
And only the heavenly father can ease the hurt,
Just let it go and keep prayin on your knees in church
I HOPE...

Cuz I’m hopeful, yes I am, hopeful for today,
Take this music and use it
Let it take you away,
And be hopeful, hopeful and he’ll make a way
I know it ain’t easy but that’s okay.
Im just hopeful..

Say it isn't so..

The Brazilian Phenom is thinkning of leaving the whites after the season is over due to the lack of fan support. They won two liga titles during Ronaldo's stay yet they still do not appreciate what he has done. This would be a great loss to the Bernabeu if ever this pushes through.

As a Real Madrid fan and Ronaldo's i'd be dissapointed if they release such a good player like what they did to Michael Owen at the start of the season.

The light was leaving
in the west it was blue
The children's laughter sang
and skipping just like the stones they threw
the voices echoed across the way
its getting late

The west winds often last too longIt was just another night
with the sun set
and the moon rise not so far behind
to give us just enough light
to lay down underneath the stars
listen to papas translations
of the stories across the sky
we drew our own constellations

the wind may calm down
nothing ever feels the same
Sheltered under the Mango tree
waiting for the passing rain
clouds keep moving to uncover the scene
stars above are chasing the day away
to find the stories that we sometimes need
Listen close enough
all else fades
fades away..

It was just another night
with the sun set
and the moon rise not so far behind
to give us just enough light
to lay down underneath the stars
listen to papas translations
of the stories across the sky
we drew our own constellations..

The Conversation (Conclusion)

Our father, who art in heaven
I'm not ashamed to ask for guidance, at 22
No longer afraid to knock on your door
Not scared anymore to lose my life in the war
After what I just saw, I'm ridin' with the lord
Cause I really can't afford to lose my head by the sword
And now that I've seen, what I need to see
Please take me, where I need to be

What have you learned?

It's better to tell the truth than to lie..

What have you learned?

To love my life until I die..

What have you learned?

Violence isn't always the key..

What have you learned?

You can't always believe what you see..

What have you learned?

It's better to forgive and forget..

What have you learned?

Give as you expect to get..

What have you learned?

That I can't go on without you..

What have you learned?

I musta been a fool to ever doubt you..

The Conversation (Continuation)

Ya see, I feel like a boy but I am a man,
Full grown, and I'm still not able to stand

I gave you a hand

Well...but I was looking the wrong way
Figured out the plan, then I started to pray
And that prayer, took me from here to over there
Back to over here,
Now they got me like where?
Do I belong?
Do I fit in?
Things on my mind, where do I begin?
It's easier to sin, but it hurts my heart
I'm really tryin' to win, so where do we start?

Thou shall not steal

But, what if he stole from me?

Thou shall not kill

But what if he's tryin' to kill me?

Thou shall not, take my, name in vain, no matter how hard it rains,
withstand the pain..

The Conversation

You left me stranded
And I don't know why
Told me to live my life,
Now I'm ready to die
Ready to fly
I cry, but I shed no tears
You told me you would dead those fears, it's been years
Snakes still coming at me
Just missing
Sometimes I think all you doing me is just listen
I thought that I was special
Thats what you told me
Hold me
Stop acting like you don't know me
What'd I do so bad that it sent you away from me
Not only sent you away, but made you stay away from me

I'm here, as I've always been, it was you who went away,
And now are back again, what did I say?

Follow your word, and be true..

What did you do?

What I wanted to do...

What have you seen?

Darkness and hell at a glance

What do you want?

All I want is another chance..

Just because you went away, my doors are not locked, wanna come back home,
all you gotta do is knock
..
to be continued...

Where there is a will,
there is a way,
to search and discover,
a better day,
Where a positive heart is all u need,
to Rise beyond and succeed,
where young minds grow,
and respect each other,
based on their Deeds,
and not their status,
When times are dimsay as I say,
"Where there is a will
There is a way!"

Mon Update

So this is the first official Mon's update entry for 2006.. And.. Here we Go..

New Year's Resolution:
1. None
2. None
3. None
4. None
5. And finally None..

Why none?! BECAUSE IT DOESN'T HAPPEN ANYWAY! SO WHY THE HELL SHOULD I BOTHER! And so, 2005 has been great, i hope 2006 will much better.. so far it's hasn't actually turned to my way.. yet, though i hope it does.. soon. Anyway, I just realized yesterday that i'm gonna be cancelling all my Saturday extra curricular activities for the next four months since i got catering at 4 till 9.. Ok.. that's nice! And.. as much as i want to ditch at least one of them catering services.. i just can't since im gonna be heading majority of it.. Again.. Nice! Let's just say this is a taste of what's to come this year.. sheesh.. I wish I was in High School! Hay.. Anyways, Moving on to better things, I heading for Europe this summer.. That's Madrid, London, Rome or Turin and Paris or Athens.. I don't actually care where we go in Europe, as long as we go to Madrid and in Italy (namely Napoli and Turino.. haha!) I just got to see the Spanish Steps, all of them fountains in Italy (Especially the Trevi Fountain) and The Infamous Estadio de Santiago Bernabeu and Delle Alpi.. I just have to see them places.. and oh yeah, Mona Lisa in Paris.. though i ain't a fan, i just got to see that.. they say it's overrated, but who gives a shit! It's still Mona Lisa! You don't see that shit everyday and since i'm gonna be there already, why not right?!! Haha.. Moving on

Real Madrid just aquired Italian forward Antonio Cassano from AS Roma and Brazilian Defender Cicinho from Sao Paolo. Two new great players to add to the Real Madrid roster for the next half of the season. nice!!

Another Postal Service

I’ll write you a song and it won't be hard to sing
it will be a natural anthem, familiar it may seem
it will rally all the workers on strike for better pay
and its chorus will resound and boost morale throughout the day

I’ll write you a song and I hope that you won't mind
because all the names and places I have taken from real life
so please don't be upset at this portrait that I paint
it may be a little biased, but at least I spelt your name right...

Postal Service

Last week I had the strangest dream,
Where everything was exactly how it seemed,
Where there was never any mystery,
Of who shot John F. Kennedy
It was,
Just a man with something to prove,
Slightly bored and severly confused,
He steadied his rifle with his target in the center,
and became famous on that day in november,

Don't wake me I plan on sleeping...

Again last night I had that strange dream,
Where everything was exactly how it seemed,
Concerns about the world getting warmer,
People thought that they were just being rewarded,
For treating others as they'd like to be treated,
For obeying stop signs and curing diseases,
For mailing letters with the address of the sender,
Now we can swim any day in november,

Don't wake me I plan on sleeping...

You Can Question my Motives all you want.. But Please, never question My Friendship..

The Last Entry for 2005..

So.. How was 2005? well, basically like any other year it has been a roller coaster ride.. the only difference is, this year, i have no complaints. Everything charge to experience without a doubt. I recall a couple of days ago, someone asking me "so.. if you got anything to change in the past year what would it be?".. my answer a couple of days ago was "March to May and probably the first two weeks December (Read the archives if you want info)". Anyways, ask me that question again.. and my answer would be "none".. I wouldn't change a DAMN thing! Why? because i just realized that the instances i want changed are turning points in my so called life.. so why change it right?!

Anyways, this is the last line i'mona write this year..

"IT'S NOT WETHER THIS YEAR OR NEXT YEAR IS THE YEAR.. IT'S HOW YOU MAKE OF IT! and this from As good as it gets.. "You make me want to be a better Man.. go figure!" "

HAPPY NEW YEAR! UNTIL THE NEXT YEAR!! PEACE!!

First there was nothing
Not even the faint echo of a song
Loneliness was daily 4 me
until u came along
There was a gleam of stars in your eyes
I thought I'd never feel this way again
But u were the one 2 reach into my heart
And find in me a Friend
I could not ignore the magnetism
that I felt when u were near
And any problems plaguing my mind
would suddenly disappear
It was the rebirth of my heart
The day u became my friend
Because I knew from the moment
I held u that I would find something
like this again...

So I Say

I'm going in2 this not knowing what I'll find
but I've decided 2 follow my heart and abandon my mind
and if there be pain I know that at least I gave my all
and it is better 2 have loved and lost than 2 not love at all
In the morning I may wake 2 smile or maybe 2 cry
but first 2 those of my past I must say goodbye.

So now i can write again.. *Whew* and i thought i lost it..

Sometimes they can be the sweetest people in the world.. They treat you as if you are the best person in the world. It's not their job to do that actually, and they don't owe that to you, actually it's you who owe them for your existance right now, But they do that because they want to and because they love you.. and you mean the world to them

Sometimes though they can be the meanest people in the world.. They make you feel like you are low even though you are already at your lowest. They'd sometimes say things that you'd never imagine them to say to you.. words that would just make you break down and crawl for forgiveness for your shortcoming.. even though what you have done is far from criminal. And you know what? most of the time, it just happens that it's not your fault, and they'd still scream at you. Sad if you think about it.. because like what i said, they can be the sweetest people in the world.. and they can do this.. a drag really.. but as hard as it may seem to understand, they do this because they love you. They just go overboard sometimes on what they say or do. They're just scared basically, that something bad may happen to especially to you.

You just have to try and understand that, if you were in their shoes, you probably feel the way they do. it's hard really, it's hard to understand.. but you have to.. it's hard raising parents.. you know.. but that's how it goes..

Mon's Monologue

I don't know what to say really. 21 years into the biggest battle of my life and it all comes down to today. Either i heal as person, or i crumble, inch by inch, play by play.. until i'm finished. I feel like i'm in hell right now ladies and gentlemen, believe me. I can either, sit here and get the shit kicked out of me, or i can fight my way back into the light. I can climb out of this ditch and this doubt and this uncertainty and climb my way out of hell.. one inch at a time.. I know i can do it, but i feel like i can't. I feel as if i'm too old. I look around at your faces and i see young men and women and i think.. i made every wrong choice a teenager can make. I mean, I pissed away my chance in getting a good education, and i think i chased off the person who's dear to me.. lately, i can't even stand to see the face i see in the mirror..

As we get older, some things are taken away.. well that's part of life. You'll only learn that when you start to loose stuff. You find out life is this game of inches! Just like Basketball! Because the margin of error in either game, Basketball or life, are so small.. i mean, one half a step too late or too early and you don't quite make it, one half a step too slow or too fast and you don't quite catch it. The inches we need are everywhere around us! they're in every break of the game, every minute, every second..

I know i'm gonna fight for that inch! I know i'll tear myself and everyone around me in pieces for that inch! I'll claw with my fingernails for that inch.. because I know when you add up all those inches, that's gonna make the FUCKIN' difference between WINNING and LOOSING! between LIVING AND DYING! I'll tell you! because I know, in every fight, the guy who's willing to die is gonna win that inch! And i know, the reason why i still have any kind of life in me, is because i'm still willing to fight and die for that inch! BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT LIVING IS!

The inches infront of you! I know i can do it, but i can't do it alone. That's why i look at the person next to me, i look into his or her eyes. And i know i see this person who's willing to go that inch with me. I see this person who's gonna be there for me, because when it comes down to it, he'll know that i'll do the same for him or her! That's a friend ladies and gentlemen..

Now.. it's either i heal as a person.. or i stay as a bullshit individual..
That's life for me people.. that's all there is..

Cupid's Smile

The morning after that night,
I ran outside 2 feel the rain
and I stayed outside awhile
when the rain was done along came the sun
and this was Cupid's Smile!

Run and tell the angel,
This could take all night,
Think I need a devil to help me get things right,
Hook me up a new revolution,
Cause this one ain't a lie,
We sat around laughing and watched the last one ride,

I think I'm done nursing the patience
I can wait a long time,
I'd give it all away if you give me one try,
i'll live happily ever trapped if i continued this fight,
Run and tell the Angel that everything is alright.

I'm looking to the sky to save me,
Looking for a sign of life,
Looking for something to help me burn out bright,
I'm looking for a complication,
Looking cause I'm tired of lying
I'll make my way back home when I learn to fly..

The Tears In Cupid's Eyes

The day I chose 2 tell you
it rained constantly outside
In truth I swore the rain 2 be
The tears in Cupid's eyes..

ROY KEANE IN MADRID?!

Real Madrid say they are considering signing ex-Manchester United captain Roy Keane but have denied reports that he has already passed a medical.
The 34-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Spain and he could be given a six-month deal at the Bernabeu.

NICE!!!

Question

I Never asked for a Ferrari,
nor Maseratti,
a Ducati,
or the that 355 that dude drives.

I never asked for the Moon,
Nor the Sun,
the Clouds
and the stars in the sky.

I've never asked for something
as big as this in my life,
eventhough so many times of times,
there are alot of tears in my eyes

so please for once,
i'm beggin and praying,
can i have what i want?
so i'll know how it feels like to fly..

15 Things You Probably Never Knew or Thought About (From My Mom's Email)

1. At least 5 people in this world love you so
much they would die for you.

2. At least 15 people in this world love you in
some way.

3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is
because they want to be just like you.

4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone,
even if they don't like you.

5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before
they go to sleep.

6. You mean the world to someone.

7. If not for you, someone may not be living.

8. You are special and unique.

9. Someone that you don't even know exists loves
you.

10. When you make the biggest mistake ever,
something good comes from it.

11. When you think the world has turned its
back on you, take a look: you most likely turned
your back on the world.

12. When you think you have no chance of getting
what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you
believe in yourself, probably, sooner or later, you
will get it.

13. Always remember the compliments you received.
Forget about the rude remarks.

14. Always tell someone how you feel about them;
you will feel much better when they know.

15. If you have a great friend, take the time to
let them know that they are great.

I'm sorry for the thing i did,
I'm sorry if i made you think
I jumped off the cliff
and never thought of what if's
Because of this I think acted second rate.
I feel like i stole ten dollars
out of the collection plate
You got my heart, plus you smart
That's the reason why i feel this
Everything i said is true
won't lie to you boo
now that you know about me
Let's get back to before shall we?
This is my public apology

Do you get the feeling when you know it's not right but it feels right?! you know it's not fair but even though it's not, you'll still want to push through with it because you know you will not fail?!.. i mean, ok, it's not right because society will not probably be able to accept it nor, it's not fair because of the YEARS (YOU probably know what i'm talking about).. it's just sad to actually see my non confomist self talking about this since, i've have not been under Big Brother's sight for so long.. and now i start. I seriously don't know what's happening to me.. I mean, i shouldn't be even thinking this way for crying out loud, it's just not right.

All the homies tell me that don't risk it
I contemplate -- but in my heart I know it's worth it
Tell me can you get away?

A sad sad day for Madridistas

Barcelona 3 - 0 Real Madrid
Estadio de Santiago Bernabeu
Matchday 12 of the National League Championship

The Humiliation of the whites in the Bernabeu was orchestrated by the Brazilian Ronaldinho and a former Madridista Samuel Eto'o. The injury plagued Madrid were played by the Catalans from the second the whistle was blown by the Referee to start the match. Today is a very very sad day for Madridistas..

3 Years of Blogging yet still the same G'Thang

And so it's been three years since i've started this online log on what the hell's been up with this shmuck named mon. Three years of collected episodes ranging from revulsion, worship and just plain gibberish, on the goal of answering the question "CAN IT BE ALL THAT SIMPLE!?". Well.. it can, if you look at it in a different standpoint. It's not easy yet it can still be possible.

So, what can i say about these past three years of blogging and sharing a piece of my mind to world. Well.. All we need is Faith.. Faith on what we do, what we say and Faith on what we write, Faith on everything. Hold nothing when the thoughts overflow.. bad, good, gibberish, even if you think your train of thought is like cyanide, if you gots to write something, just write it. If you gots to do something, just do it, If you gots to say somethin' just say it.. believe on what you profess! kuz that you right there. Plain, Simple and Raw!

I want you to close your eyes, and vision the most beautiful place in the world
If you in your home, or on your street corner smokin'. Come on this journey the best journey, think of a Mansion. Acres of land and swimming pools and all that, Check it out..

I'm capable of anything, my imagination can give me wings
To fly like Ddoves over the streets watchin' many things
Kids walkin' home from school on drug blocks, missionaries
Pass out papers that read: Love God
I see faces, cases, judges, juries, masons, lawyers and cops
I watch because every thugs face is my mirror
But this was one in particular
This kid he was the vintage stick em up pro
16 years old, almost did a jail sentence, nowhere to go
Every mornin calls his comrad to come and get him to smoke
He insane, already gone mad
Blames himself for his setbacks
homies houses where his sets at
Sling from dust to dawn, parents act like they maniacs
Chasin' him, his ass was flarin'
Smokin' like a chimney, on JC, of course he not carin'
He need a place to go to keep his mind expandin'
I give him a helpin' hand and, bring him out to God's Mansion

Snap Back to Reality, Oops there goes Gravity! Halloween Break Over

So it's back to Taft avenue for me tomorrow, the final stretch for the second term before the Christmas break and yet my last academic term this January, before i head for a hotel for my On-the-job training on summer or this coming June. I can't wait to finish up college, i mean, 5 years in the making for crying out loud! i'm so burned out, i'm already having thoughts of bombing the school (just thoughts don't worry!)! five years just to get a degree and finally become a chef.. or whatever job it is available in the real world! hay!.. So i guess this is my last Halloween and last Christmas as a student, next year i would either be unemployed or working.. wow, come to think of it.. that sounded so sad..

Anyway, so how did i spend the Halloween break.. Let's just say for the past week i've been coming home at around 4 a.m. from either the Herrera's house, Justine's house, Gian's house or God know where, because my parents were in China majority of the time. And just for the record, out of the 8 straight days of no classes, i just got wasted once! and that's in the Herrera's while playing Quasimodo in an Allen Iverson Jersey! And yeah, last Saturday, majority of the youth went to the Happiest place down south of Manila which is Laguna.. "Enchanted Kingdom". The trip wouldn't be as great as it was if the youth wasn't there. I mean the place was packed with people! imagine, a two hour wait on every ride that only lasts for 30 seconds or sometimes less! that's just messed up right there! that ain't right!!
Tito Mario Mamon, You got to do something about this! That's just not right!

Here's an artistic moving picture i took of the Wheel and the Midway in Enchanted Kingdom care of Gabbi's Camera!

Anyways, School's up tomorrow! i'll blog again soon! PEACE!!

Happy Halloween, a wet Halo-Ween Party and a Madrid over Betis and Rosenborg

First up, belated happy 21st expiration to Justine! that was a crazy party you had last Saturday! Anyways, Monday was the tradional trick or treat and the Youth's Halo-ween party here, down south of the AAV. First the Trick or Treat, I was actually expecting it to be crazier than before, but since the village tried to contain the people who were trying to enter, it turned our to be a bit of a dissapointment. I was expecting a million man march last monday! oh well, hope next year it would be better.

Moving on, the Youth's Halo-ween party was crazy! the costumes of the people were just unbelievable! Kudos to the group who dressed up as Mystery Inc., that was just tight! anyway, i'm also flattered to have seen 4 people dressed up as me (Gian, Bea, Mac and Jacy)! hahahaha! and so because of this, i won the "Most Wanted Award"! nice one! other than people wearing crazy ass costumes, after the party everybody started to throw everybody in the pool including me, who've thrown majority of the people! hahaha.. talk about a taste of my own medicine! hehehe!

Madrid won against Real Betis in the Spanish La Liga which puts them on the third place, 1 point behind Barcelona and 2 on Ossasuna also, they won against Rosenborg in the Champions League which puts them in the final 16. All these accomplishments without Ronaldo and Zidane, what more if they were there! hope this streak keeps up till the end of the season!

Madrid 2 - 0 Betis
29': Robinho
78': Mejia
Madrid 2 - 0 Rosenborg
25': Dorsin (Own Goal)
40': Guti
