So.. 2009... What can I say.. Last year, I made a toast to the Happy Days of 2009. This year it's gonna be to the EPIC DAYS OF 2010! That's right.. My new year's resolution is "To Do Something Epic". Whatever it is, as long as it's epic, It's Resolution completed.

Don't you just hate it when someone comes up to you and asks "are you OK?" just because you're quiet and not in the mood to talk, since you have nothing better to say anyway?.. It's just annoying, can't a person shut up for awhile without having any problems? sheesh..

Anyway, crunch time. It's make or break.. last 4 days of training. It's pass or Fail, no in betweens. 3 days of regular production and Friday would be the grand buffet. 3 dishes per person, 30 guests.. No Filipino food allowed, No simple entrees. Everything has to be intricate.. Everything has to be special.. Normal is not allowed..

........ SOUNDS LIKE FUN.. HEHEHEHE..

Thank God I'g coming home tomorrow.. I can't wait to sleep in my bed and watch TV.. So just like last week, I haven't watched any TV for the past 4 days.. Shit, I need ESPN and Euro Sport..

So far so good.. It's just bums me out that I wasn't able to enjoy the long weekend and I wasn't able to go around that much in the annual bazaar. Anyway, fuck it.. I don't want to ponder on that..

Day 4..

So far so good.. I'm getting slightly home sick.. If it wern't for the "cook whatever you want but clean up after rule" i'd actually commute home right now. I was talking to one of my friends here about this being home sick and he mentioned that you'd be more home sick here than abroad since, you know that you'll be able to go home when your here whenever you want.. But when your abroad, you know your 10,000 miles away and you can't do nothing.. Makes sense actually..

Anyway.. Last day of the week tomorrow and I'd get to go home for the weekend.. Can't wait to sleep in my bed and take a hot shower, we don't have a heater here and it's freezing cold in the morning. Oh yeah, and have an ice cold beer..... like 10 ice cold beers.. haha!

In Traning Day 2..

So far so good.. This place perfect.. They have a well equipped kitchen, and the people i am with are great. It just gets really gloomy and lonely at night since we're here up in the mountains and it's hard to connect in the net.. 3 more days and i have the weekend off.. for some reason, i can't wait to get home..

Hiatus..

So it's gonna be a three week blog Hiatus for me. Training starts today and we'll be secluded up in the mountains of Antipolo. Wish me luck..

Steady Monday..

Was supposed to have my "Pre-Departure" seminar in the office today, but for some reason the person who was gonna conduct the seminar took a sick leave. The HR didn't inform us.. The office is pretty far from where I live (because of the traffic). I went there for nothing but thank God it's right in front of Fort Santiago. So instead of wasting my trip i just made the best out of it and went inside the fort instead.. The last time i was there, I think I was like 12 or something.. Too bad I didn't have a camera on hand.. C'est La Vie.

Now that Halloween is done and over with we just have Christmas left in our list or if ever you guys are celebrating Thanksgiving then good for you (You have one more event to look forward to before Christmas)! And speaking of Halloween, this was a pretty steady one. I didn't get hammered, I didn't got trick or treating with my nephew and I didn't wear a costume.. Come to think of it, It kinda sounds sad actually.. or maybe I'm just getting old, but anyway, a steady night at Vic's place with the roots and a shit load of beer and some scotch plus a quick stop at Olav's and that was the night.. Good Vibes..

On other things, I've already passed all my requirements for work and basically I'm just waiting for boot camp which starts at the 23rd of November till the 11th of December.. so far so good..

What else is there?

A 4 - 0 loss to Alcorcon.. I'm speechless.. I am disappointed as a fan. WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING IN THAT LOCKER ROOM?! Even my brother who couldn't care less about football and Real Madrid asked me about this humiliating loss.. I am speechless.. This is a very very bad way to start your second term Mr. Perez, you have to do something ASAP!

Training #1.. Check!

OK, so the Safety On Life at Sea (SOLAS) training is done (Training #1). I just have to get my certificate tomorrow and head to the Marina to file for a Seafarer's record book. A month long rest after that and then I'm heading for Antipolo for another course on Culinary (Training #2). So far so good.. all my requirements are in check and on hand.. I'm basically just waiting for the training and the medical exam.. I'm really trying to push to leave on January so that I can spend Christmas and New Years here at home.. I pray everything goes to plan..

On other things, All of last night's UEFA Champions League matches were upsets! Which is good and bad at the same time, depends on the team your rooting for. Barcelona and Liverpool lost last night and Inter drew against a mediocre team.. There's always a day like this in the UCL, I just didn't expect it to be this soon.. Anyway, tonight's highlight will be Milan against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. It's the first time since his transfer that Kaka will face his old team and this is the first UCL game this season for Madrid without CR9. Let's see.. this looks pretty interesting...

Training..

I've been waking up at 5 in the morning this past week to go to Taft Avenue for this "Basic Safety Training" I need to attend for work. I haven't gotten up this early in a long time (the last time I woke up this early was just to piss, and as far as I can remember, it was last week). Anyway, this is just a two week thing and it's already day 5 so.. three more days.

What else.. Ok, so this is the last thing I have to do as far as my list of requirements go. After this, It's another traning in Antipolo and then goodbye Manila and hello World! hehehe.. niiice!

So.. another typhoon is on it's way here in the PI. Son of a bitch! as if we need more of that shit! I love the rain yeah?! I'm a rain person, but this shit is too much man! There are still a shit load of people trying to recover from last weeks crazy ass storm and now we have something that's accordong to the news that is a category 5?

1st of the Month

Start the month right and help with feeding the typhoon victims and donate some old clothes, one of my friends said yesterday. Or maybe she's just saying that so that she's have someone to go with her. Anyway, I did do those things and it actually feels fulfilling and besides, I was ranting about not helping out the other day so I guess this is just right. Thus because of this, today was a good day.. A very very good day!

Too Much Vodka..

First off.. Congrats Donna! after a whole weekend of news about calamity and all that shit! At least it's good to hear that theres a blessing coming up! I want to be the Godfather of that kid! hahahahaha!

Speaking of calamity, everyone is been acting up on helping and shit like that for those less fortunate and victims of the crazy ass typhoon. And I haven't done shit yet... I feel like a jackass.. Maybe i'll help out in church tomorrow...

Old Blogs..

I was just skimming though my old blogs just a few minutes ago and I just realized that my blog entries from May 2007 to December 2007, mostly consisted of complaints. Complaints about how my job sucks dick and I needed a good job. And also for some reasons those entries are a few of the most interesting entries I've written in this blog (I was being too honest I guess). And by reading those I also realize that "jesus jones".. I really hated my job back then!

Being a front desk agent in a hotel is not for me. I've learned a lot for that job, I'll give you that, but as far as I'm concerned.. I WILL NEVER WORK IN A HOTEL DESK AGAIN (unless of course.. the world is gonna explode if I don't or I get a hot chick to be my wife.. or If I really don't have a choice)..

To my old Co-workers: You guys are cool and thank you for everything, I never really gotten to thank you guys since I slapped you guys with my resignation without even giving you guys a hint...

Weekender..

Another weekend, another roadtrip.. This weekends destination was a quick stop to Manaoag, Pangasinan to visit the Shrine of Mary and Baguio again for the third time this year. It's alright, I'm just in it for the drive and I have nothing planned on the long weekend anyway, besides a long line of parties consisting of booze and drunk people. So what the hell right?

Speaking of the drive, though it's tiring and mentally draining since I have a lot of backseat drivers, It was just awesome. Especially when they have already dozed off from the long drive, You get the chance to contemplate and enjoy the great scenery of the rice fields in Tarlac and Pangasinan and the mountain ranges heading to Baguio through Kennon road. It was just lovely.

They say September 9, 2009 would be a lucky day. And it is. Today, it's been confirmed that I'm officially going on a cruise as a chef. Best part, it's in Alaska. The place I've always thought of going to. God is good.. and Today is a good day..

Everybody loves Ramen.. I'm a chef who's background is Italian, but I was forced to make ramen for a shop we are putting up.. So far so good, everyone liked the ramen I made.. Yeah, I just look at it as Pasta.. with soup.. or something like that.. hahaha

Pre-S.E. Weekend..

The Singles Encounter weekend number 16 is already this weekend and I can still remember how it was when I was the candidate which was a good eight months ago. It's very very fast compared to the Youth. I'm actually pretty excited for this weekend since we'll be having 65 candidates including my sister and Vic.

It's actually funny because back when I was still part of the Youth, I always said that I would never join the Singles apostolate and I'll go straight to the Marriage program they had, since I didn't really like the people there back then (don't want to explain). But now come to think of it, they're actually cool people and I'm eating my words right now...

This time I'm in Legaspi Village in Makati. The last time, I was in Jupiter and comparing the ambiance of the one in Jupiter to this one. This has like a New York-ish vibe minus the huge buildings. I like this place.. If I'm gonna live in this City, this is where I would want to stay. The place is just pretty steady compared to the other places here where in you just feel the stress of everyone.. Nice Nice..

Good Morning Makati..

To begin with. It's early morning and I'm already in Makati since my sister had me accompany her to another job interview. Anyway, I kinda like the feel here in this area in the Metro. Before, I had this whole thing going on that I don't want to be corporate or whatsoever since I don't like the concept of the whole thing of sitting in a desk from 9 to 5 and doing paper work and all that, but now that I'm looking at it i mean just feeling the of the vibe of the whole thing, I guess It's not so bad. I just had my mind closed on the whole thing. Of course, I know that I'm way far from something like this since my job description and "The Plan" really shoves me far away from something like this but given the chance maybe now, I'm already willing to give it a shot.

Speaking of "The Plan" like what I said a few months back, this is the hardest part of the whole Plan. The 2nd step which is what I call "Re-entering the industry with a whole new aspect" (the 1st step is "graduating with the dream" which is culinary school). It's been at least 3 months since I graduated from culinary school and so far since then, I've been looking for a way to re-enter the industry. So far no luck. Once in awhile there are opportunities here and there and I don't was to sound like a spoiled prick when I say this but, they just aren't for me. Especially right now when the economy is like shit, I shouldn't be picky when it comes to work but, I can do those things that are being offered to me as of the moment. It's not part of "The Plan".

Now, since we're on the topic of "The Plan" something Lily Aldrin said hit me while she was talking to Ted Mosby about "His Plan". Cheesy yeah, this is from How I met your mother, the season 4 finale. In the show, Ted is an architect and he recently just lost his job and he didn't want to settle for another job since that was the whole plan. The line was when she asked Ted if he really needed to stick to the plan. Even though the world is telling him that the plan isn't going to happen anytime soon or won't happen at all and does he really have to force it? When she said that, I felt like Ted Mosby right then and there. "The Plan".. The plan is, I'm going to be a Chef, I'm gonna study three and a half years of college, study an extra culinary course to back everything up and get enough experience from my internships. Just like Ted, he's gonna be an architect, he studied architecture and got enough experience. But the thing is, what if Lily was right? The whole "Plan" is just until step one and we're just forcing something that up until the universe tells us to our faces that we refuse to believe it till then? And maybe when that happens it's already too late to come up with a new plan.

See, that's the only thing that I'm terrified of. What if it's really like that and it's comes to a point where in It's too late? What if I'm fighting a losing battle where in there isn't any glory when I lose and my stubbornness of getting what I want without compromise gets the best of me? What if I prove my dad right? There are just too many what if's to mention. But that's the whole concept of what I'm afraid of happening.

So far, it's been leaning to that and even if I don't show it. I'm scared shitless. believe me. I've never been scared my whole life.

Just now I realize that, there are one thousand and one reasons I can think of why I shouldn't be with you. But now I regret not thinking about the other reasons, because I know for a fact that somewhere in between those reasons, the reason why we should be together is there somewhere.. Sorry.

Landon Donovan deserves a look from La Liga!?

Hey, the US may be great at everything, but don't push your luck by including football in the list. Beating Spain, halting their 15 game streak doesn't make the US good in football. It just means that they just got lucky and caught Spain a bad day. According to the Americans a win is a win no matter, what the score is... Well.. Getting lucky is getting lucky.. no matter how good or bad your team is.. Win a Huge FIFA sanctioned competition first before actually bragging that you guys are good. Because based on the numbers, the stats and the fan base.. You guys are not You guys are just full of air.

Now, Landon Donovan to La Liga or any European league.. C'mon really? He's not even good enough to play in the reserve team of Bayern Munich, what more the La Liga? or the English Premier League? Him being a Spanish speaker and being able to play mediocre football doesn't mean that he's fit to play for Europe. Stay in the United States Landon Donovan.. It's for your own good! I don't expect European teams such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan, Chelsea and even Manchester City to actually bid for a 27 year old football player who can't produce outside of his country. The next two months of the European Transfer window will probably remind Donovan that his skill doesn't belong to Europe but just for the US Competition.

In a few hours.. Brazil and the US for the Confederations Cup. I won't say anything yet since lady luck is with the Yanks.. You know what I mean? they might just get lucky.. AGAIN.

Manchester United have accepted a world record bid of 80 million pounds for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

United confirmed this morning they had accepted an £80million bid for the world player of the year, with a world-record deal expected to go through by June 30.

The news had been expected given Real stated last night talks were under way and now it is only a matter of finalising the player's personal terms before he completes a dream move to the Bernabeu.

Real president Florentino Perez had already vowed to do "everything possible" to sign the 24-year-old and, unlike 12 months ago, Sir Alex Ferguson did not even attempt to talk Ronaldo round, knowing the former Sporting Lisbon player had his heart set on a move.

There's nothing new really apart from the NBA Finals is in the next three days and it's Orlando and LA instead of the much anticipated Cleveland and LA. On other things, Me and Brian decided that we are "Entrepreneurs" since the term "Bum" is too overused and it just doesn't sound nice.. Oh yeah, for those people in the South area of the metro.. We'll be having another Arroz Amigo stall this coming Independence Day bazaar on the 13th and 14th of June in the Cuenca community center, 9am till 9pm. If you want good food for a good price visit the stall. Just for this month we will have a special bowl dedicated to our friend Ean, who's leaving for Canada a week after the bazaar. It's like ten bucks more than the normal bowl but it's gonna be good..

A late congratulations to F.C. Barcelona for winning the Champion's league and getting a Trebel. A well deserved achievement for our rivals. Good Job!

I'm in loss for words. And so it has been showed.. It's Doha or bust (so far). Just this morning, I got confirmation that I got accepted as a Chef in one of the Hotels in Doha, Qatar.. By confirmed I mean, they showed me the job offer and all the perks and all I have to do is sign.. A 2 year contract with all expenses paid (from the tickets to the lodging to the uniforms and the transportation)..

The only thing is.. It's a 2 year straight contract and it's in Doha. Very very far from what I'm used to.. I was thinking more of Ice than Sand (when I said Ice, I didn't mean Sand) and somewhere in between Europe and the States (not literally). But you know what I mean..

I have one week to decide since the people from the hotel are gonna call on Monday to set up my medical exam.. I sure hope that Hong Kong job offer comes this week or It's Doha for me.. Siiiigh..

Oh yeah, before I forget.. If I get this.. I'm leaving this July.. niiice...

Tonight would probably be the most perfect night this entire summer to have someone special right beside you.. I stepped out to have my last cig for the night and once i looked up i was just in awe. Cloudless night, there's quiet cool breeze, all the stars are out, the moon shining on everything and it makes the sky look like it has an endless hue of dark blue.. Perfect, just plain perfect.. Watching House and the Laker game on the tube, a nice hot cup of Java and a cigarette and to top everything, a not so good pick up game at St. Cuenca park. That's what's composed of my whole day.. Bout You? anything interesting you'd like to share?

I was tempted to actually head out of the house, but the weather is just too damn perfect just to waste it outside.. I'm just lovin' the weather! Maybe I should move to Seattle.. I hear they got weather like this 90% of the year.. The suicide rate is pretty high though, but the hell with it.. I'm pretty sure I'm way way way way Way far from being suicidal so, I guess I'll be alright..

So, Atlanta at Cleveland tomorrow.. This should be interesting..

The Pride of the Filipinos are off the charts (which is a good thing and thanks to Manny Pacquiao!).. I mean, today, I did my routine once a week visit to the mall and I most probably saw more than twenty people with the same red Manny Pacquiao shirt going around.. Crazy really (In a good way).. I just hope the pride still stays with us even when the whole "Manny Stepped on Hatton" issue had died down and when we snap back to reality and realize that shit is still hitting the Fan (You know what I mean?!)..

Anyway, on other things.. Real Madrid was Humiliated by Barcelona at the Bernabeu. Looks like the speculation of a lot of people that the Galacticos will have no silverware this season is about to come true. The whole season, I've been defending the idea that they will have at least one Trophy. If not the Champions League then the La Liga at least.. I guess I'm wrong (for those two Irishmen at Handlebar: Looks like I owe you guys a pint each..)..

On Other Other Things.. Boston eliminates Chicago. But really? If the Celts are really good, would they really allow the series to reach a crucial Game 7? Ok.. I'm a Chicago fan so sue me! Kudos to Derrek Rose, Ben Gordon, John Salmons and Kirk Heinrich! I can't wait for next season! As for the Celts.. It's Bye Bye once you guys hit Cleveland..

And so it is.. A blessing from God that I hope I don't fuck up. Just a few days ago, I got a job offer in Hong Kong wherein for the first time, the employer was interested in my resume as a Chef. He's flying in the next few days or maybe in the next week to fix a few of his businesses and to meet me personally.. Personally, I hope I do a great job because most probably I'm gonna have to give him a demo on what I can do..

I'm not doubting my skills, don't get me wrong, but I've got the butterflies right now.. Just means that I really want this to happen.. Pray for me.. whoever is reading this..

The Graduation..

So.. Step one is done. I've graduated and now I'm officially a Chef. A dream come true really though now, I'm bound for step two. For me really this is the hardest step of all since this is the step wherein in I start everything.. It's alright though since looking for a job to prove my worth is really hard, plus the world economy is really fucked up.. this step is gonna be terrible but I'm always up for the challenge..

Anyway to the next step carnal!!

The Last Day..

So it's Official, I'm done being an intern and now off to graduation.. So to the next step, which is get a job and get back to the REAL WORLD and earn my keep. I'm really looking forward to this since this is step 2 of my long term goal. And normally I don't get past step 1.. So moving on.. Please pray fro my friend Julian Rodriguez who was kidnapped last night in their shop.. I hope he's safe..

PS. I'll burn your houses if I have to.. So don't push it..

According to the Human Resource person that's handling my hours in the hotel, I have approximately till Wednesday before I end.. But from my calculations, I still have till Thursday.. but anyway that's good news then.. So done on Wednesday and graduation next Saturday.. Then Beach.. Nice Itinerary..

The Boss..

Just before lunch time, I was called into the security office because apparently.. I called my boss a FAG. Actually I didn't call him a Fag two interns who were a suck ass to him just made it up, but from the way he acted awhile ago, I sure wish I did.. Funny because he threatened me with my internship and for some weird reason with my life.. I dunno, I actually didn't feel threatened.. I felt more of "If we weren't here right now in your security office, and you weren't my boss, this would be a different story.."

On a more weird note.. those two interns who made up the whole "Mon called the boss a FAG" story, I really don't know where and why they would do something so idiotic.. I can't think of any reason for them to do such thing since I don't really talk to them.. They are actually insignificant to my eyes to the point where I don't notice them anymore even if they stared me down or something to that extent.. Weird Weird Girls.. hay nako..

Anyway.. I almost lost my Job this morning.. If I didn't have a week left in my internship, I probably would have done something I know I would regret.. But would enjoy.. hehehe.. SAYANG!

The Sunburn was all worth it considering that Pangasinan was just a contingency plan since out Caramoan was trip was cancelled due to the weather. Donsol bay and the Hundred Islands were great.. I just wished we'd stay a bit longer since we just went to two islands and there ARE a hundred.. And also I wish I brought a kayak since you can kayak your way from island to island in just a few short strokes.. but anyway, a kayak would be a little too much.. but anyway the trip was great.. next stop? Our yearly outing at the Thugz Mansion in Lemery..

So far I've covered two places in my list of places "where I've never been in and always wanted to go".. It's a very long list but Roadtripping and covering the Philippine Islands is a good start.. hehe... Ciao!

First of the Month..

So.. to start the Month right I'm heading for another roadtrip in a few hours.. The plan was originally in Caramoan, where they shot the French survivor. But since the weather isn't actually cooperating with us, we'll be heading for Pangasinan instead and this is where the Hundred Islands are located.. So either way.. It's a Win-Win.. The last 100 hours..

I'm down to the last one hundred hours of my internship and so far I have yet to think f what to do next. I've had previous plans, but since the whole recession and worse, the recession being crazier than ever, I have to re-think my game plan. Talk about the world's economy screwing your career path over. I never thought it would go down like this.. I guess I'm not the first..

On other things, I just realized awhile ago how the whole world works in terms of "deserving".. Like on how one guy wins the lottery and the other guy just goes "well, he deserved it" or when one ugly guy hooks up with a really hot chick and the next guy goes "well, deserved it" or when a guy is in jail for murder and his jail mate says "we deserve this shit".. I think it's all a bunch of bullshit.. The word deserve is overrated, from how i see it, people tend to connect the word "deserve" to fate.. But if you put everything to perspective.. The reason why the guy won the lottery is because he buys tickets all the time and the reason why the other guy has a hot chick beside him is because he worked his ass of to get a chick that hot and the reason why the last guy is in jail is because he did something to get there.

Deserve.. Tss.. bullshit.. You pay for what you get.. and if that's what you get, it's because that's what you payed for..

The most emotional day of my life..

Until now, I still don't know what I did wrong to deserve a day like this. All I remember doing was just waking up, doing my bathroom duties, having breakfast and heading straight for work. That's it.. I can't recall doing anything stupid to be able to deserve such an emotional day.. So How emotional was it? Take note, Everything Happened in a span of 4 Hours (that's from 8 am to 12 noon).

1.) Just as I got in the kitchen, the Demi-Chef asked me to make Indian Lentil soup for 350 people since the there's a function. Just before I was done.. like a few seasoning away from being completely done with the soup, the shelf on top of me decided to give way.. thus having the stuff on it fall into my soup (Cans of sardines, Croutons, Boxes of Cereal.. Etc.).. So the top half of the soup splattered all over my face and clothes, and I had to re-re do the whole soup...... from scratch.

2.) Right after the whole Soup incident, I headed straight for the nearest sink to wash up, and to my luck the nearest one was where the stewards wash the kitchen equipment. So there I was washing up, without knowing that I was standing underneath the half open grease trap (who in the right state of mind would leave a grease trap half open?). Since I was standing there, and it's half open, my foot went inside the grease trap covering it with the collected grease from the whole kitchen and of course I got off balanced because of this and my back accidentally leaned against the bottom of the hanging pans, making half of the back of my uniform black (This was still around 9-10 am and I already looked like a wet and dirty Rag).

3.) Moving forward to right before lunch.. The Pastry kitchen asked me to collect the fondant, i made the other day. On my way back from the fridge with the fondant just before hitting the pastry kitchen itself, I slipped and fell ass first on the floor.. with the fondant.. I didn't see that the air con was dripping.. Oh yeah, I was with the cute EC assistant when this happened. So she saw everything... (at this point, I wanted to go home already... but of course.. I couldn't)

4.) Fast forward to when me and Brian were having a midnight snack at Sinangag Express.. While I was reassuring him that what he was doing was wrong.. he spilled vinegar all over my face and shirt...

Need I say more?! This was one of the most emotional, stressful and depressing days of my life and I hope this doesn't happen again...

I came across one of my friends blog entries just now, and minus her, ranting about how she saw her Ex boyfriends current girlfriend, It's actually kinda interesting since she made a list of what she used to do back when she was young. And to be honest, it wasn't far from what I like doing back when I was too which makes it kinda cool since all this time i thought she was like the rich-don't want to get mud on my leg type of girl.. Niiice!

On other things.. Real Madrid is now eliminated from the Champion's League.. What's new?! Hassle!! Liverpool is also my team but I'm more of a Madridista than a Red. Also, Chelsea eliminated Juventus.. Now I'm down to just Liverpool. Anyway, Good Luck to them..

First of the Month.

So far so good.. Start of the month and already I'm heading for another road trip. In a few hours time, I'm off to the highest peak in Luzon, Mount Pulag. They say it's really easy since we're taking the easiest route and I used to climb a lot round 10 years back, but that's before all the alcohol and cigarettes.. but we'll see..

On other things, i've already done more than half of my allotted time as an intern, so I'm guessing by the end of the month i'll be done and will just be waiting for graduation in April..

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE IS BACK..

The UEFA Champions league is back on the calendar and it's already the round of 16. So far, out of the 8 games that's currently being played, there are only 3 games that spark my interest. Them being the Manchester United vs. Inter Milan (Battle of the Top teams of each others league and for Jose Mourinho and Sir Alex Ferguson's bragging rights), Chelsea vs. Juventus (Former Chelsea coach, returns to Stamford Bridge), and of course the game that I won't be watching since they are both my teams Real Madrid vs. Liverpool.

Yesterday, Manchester and Inter had a nil - nil end score which means the 2nd leg will really decide who goes through. Now as for the rest, it's gonna be played in a few hours.. so good luck to Madrid and Liverpool!

Lunch blog

And I ain't at work because of my smart sister, and ended up waking up early to go to Camp Crame (this is where all the so called "Police" is based) to resolve the result of her very very smart decision making. Apparently, yesterday morning on her way to work, she bumped someone's car and committed hit and run.. Sadly the person she bumped caught up to her and worse he is a cop and a sergeant.. Smart noh?! haay sus..

Anyway, It's just really off when you're so anxious to go to work but at the last minute, you end up skipping due to stupid reasons.. Another day wasted hanging in the house..

So the button was pressed hence we went to Baguio last weekend.. A trip that's worth every penny (since it's austerity for me starting last monday because of this trip). This definitely is a great way to start the year.. ROADTRIP!! HEHE

So Baguio has already been crossed out this year.. I wonder what's next?!

Day 1..

If there is another word for "Beyond Loving" the that's the word I'm looking for.. I Love working in the kitchen. I belong in the kitchen.. I can't work in front of a computer the whole day, nor in a desk.. It has to be in the kitchen.. I said it once, and I'll say it again.. "I can't work anywhere other than the kitchen"

Nostalgia

My brother spent the afternoon here today and instead of sleeping because he has work later tonight we ended up tripping with Wowie's Super Nintendo Emulator in his PC.. We played from the Classic Pilotwings to Street Fighter II and the basketball game that started it all NBA Live 96.. It was crazy really since My brother still sucked at it after almost ten years of mastering other more high quality consoles.. He still couldn't beat me in every game! haha..

Anyway.. that's what boredom does..

I'm not sure what's up with raining the whole day and playing RPG games, because every time there is a down pour, and i don't have school or work, i end up in front of the tube the whole day with a control pad in my hands sitting in a huge couch, playing final fantasy III. Yes sir, My Super Nintendo is still alive but today, I played in my brother's emulator which is still pretty much the same thing just take out the huge gray cartridge and add the IM beeping every so often..

So on a more serious note. I've submitted all the requirements needed and all I got to do now is wait for their call on when and what time I should report for work. I praying that I start this Monday since, I've been Idle since November and I can't wait to start working already.. you know what I mean..

So.. 2008 is done, Happy new year to everyone.. And basically today is officially the end of the holidays. Good luck to everyone.. That was a freakishly long long holiday break, I mean, I wouldn't be surprised If everyone is still pretty lazy to start working today.. Anyway, screw that.. start the year right! Go to work!

So what's up with 2009?.. OK, so on Wednesday, I'm officially an intern.. Again.. For the last time I hope and after that starts the real deal.. Phase two of my long term plan.. The longest phase actually since this will take me at least a year of more, But whatever man.. I know, as long as I stick to the script, I'll be fine.. I hope (I never really discussed my Plans, next time maybe since it's pretty long)..

And so.. Real Madrid has a game going on today and Arjen Robben Scored a phenomenal goal just a few moments ago to take a one nill lead against Villareal in the first half.. Niice!
