Dual Function, Spotlight stolen from Rooney and Beachbound

Yesterday was our 4th function this term. It's was a bit messy compared to the previous two functions but i think we did pretty well. I don't think Chef Jose Miguel would agree with me since he thought it was a disaster, but either way, i think it was aight. It was two function cusines in one, Korean and Japanese. Both cuisines i think has a lot of similarities when it comes to meat and poultry but nothing can beat Japanese when it comes to the freshness of their fish. And also, they have this meticulous way of preparing and presenting their dishes that never ceases to amaze me. Korean on the other hand, has this obsession for Sesame seeds. I got nothing against it really, i guess that's the trade mark of their food. I'l try and post some photos in a couple of days, just check it out.

The Old Trafford spotlight was stolen from the young phenom Wayne Rooney of Manchester United as Hernan Crespo of AC Milan scores the only goal on the first leg of their match in the UEFA Champion's League Quarter Finals. Hernan Crespo gets a rebound from a bounce off Clarence Seedorf's shot to Carrol to concieve his third Champion's League goal this season. The Second Leg will be played in San Siro, Milan this 8th of march where i think a miracle can only save Manchester's Season.

End of the First Leg, Start of the Second / The Whites Barely escapes Cappello's Boys in Bianconeri

This week the professors and the chefs started handing out our midterm grades, and to my surprise i did pretty well, eventhough i've been slacking off this first leg of the term. Anyways, i hope i don't screw up this second leg, i mean, i really have to graduate already. Correction, not because i have to, but because i want to already, it's imperative for me to graduate before the next school year starts.

Ivan Helguerra Celebrating!

On sports, Real Madrid barely draws with Juventus in the first leg of the Champion's League quarter finals which was held this morning in Estadio de Santiago Bernabeu in Espana. Madrid's hero is defender Ivan Helguerra (6) where he scored the only goal in the game throgh a free kick from David Beckham (23) on the 31st minute. What probably held Juventus back was the absence of the French striker David Trezeguet and Pavel Nedved's injury. They actually did pretty well on holding back the Whites considering their teams state. Nice one! Next game is on March 9, which will be played in Del Alpi. Good Luck to both teams..

Other Scores
Bayern Munich 3-1 Arsenal
Liverpool 3-1 Bayern Leverkusen
PSV 1-0 AS Monaco
Real Madrid 1-0 Juventus F.C.

The legal expiry from an educational facility

First up, congratulations to the people who marched today. For those people who hated school so much, finally it's over for you guys. Anyways, this morning i served in the graduation banquet as the bartender, and i just have to say, i don't want to be a bartender anymore. I'd rather be a chef or something, well, that's what i'm planning to do anyways.

And so today, i realize how much i want to graduate already. Seeing these people so happy and fulfilled while holding a rolled up piece of paper in their hand, it just envys me so much. "hay dios mio!"..

Anyways, Tomorrow i'll be playing in the new Ayala Green Fields.. i'll post again later... PEACE!!

Untitled: Volume 1

There's this certain sentiment that i normally get which i can't elucidate, everytime i tend to lose something or probably someone out of lazyness or just plain bad luck. I don't think it's aggrevation nor dissapointment, i think it's somewhat in between those two. It probably is aggrevation or disapointment, if the case is just plain bad luck. But if the reason is, because i'm just too lazy to do anything or do something, i'd rather not think of it as either one of them, maybe it's the thing in between. Evidently, i have that "in between" feeling right now. To clear this shit out, it's not because it's Valentines that i'm feeling this way, it's just that i feel like i lost someone, because i didn't do anything. And i knew i was in the position where in i could have done something, anything or everything. Now it's just too late. If only regret could come first before you actually do something, maybe everybody would be happy..maybe i would be happier. It's one a.m. my class is at 9.. "Au Revoir"

There is actually nothing to blog about.. Besides having my head ashed because it's ash wednesday at the same time fast from lunch and abstain from beef, pork and poultry products because it's just the way it is.. its Filipino's way of starting the lenten season. At times i find it thick i mean, what if you were in this situation were you wern't able eat dinner the night before and when morning came, you also wern't able to eat as much since you're already late for school? and by lunch time, you were able obtain this scrumptious, mouth-watering burger from Mcdonalds while noticing the people around you staring, and wondering why you have a burger in your hands and you staring back and wondering why they staring and why do they have marks of ashes on their forheads, to only find out that it's ash wednesday and you're not supposed to eat some meat today (Greatfully, this didn't happen to me today *Wink* *Wink*). Anyway, you think it would be a transgression if you took a huge ass bite from that burger, considering your situation?

Ok, awhile ago back in school, i was supposed to keep my spending as minimal as possible. Well i guess it's easier said than done. How? ok, this blockmate of mine from my Barmlec class came up to me and started to sell tickets for her function at 6:00 pm this day. First i was sayin "no" since my class is just until 12:30 p.m. only and i won't be able to go there. But then SHE eventually used her begging technique. Little did i know that her technique was clearly functional to me. First it was her "pretty brown eyes" and then some "baby talk" and some then "arm grabbing" and Me, eventually reaching for my wallet in my pocket. And so i bought, now that i'm sitting here writing about this, i realize that i'm such an idiot. I am not part of a freakin demographic, sheeeit! But in fairness, she was a chick! yeah, a chick that downed me 200 bucks! "Hay ¡DIOS MIO! ¡la vida es hoy tal perra!" I'll blog again later.. PEACE!! Good night People!

The 2nd Function and what basically happened the whole day..

I left for Taft Avenue last thursday with the sun still yawning along with me and everyone else in the car. Every Tuesdays and Thursdays, my school schedule is from 8 a.m. till 8 p.m. I get extended till 9 because i have to wait for Vic, Primo and my Brother. The highway from alabang to Nichols greeted us wait a very Good Morning, but right from Nichols to Buendia, it was as if he has a hangover from last night! The traffic was terrible but thankfully we reached school just in time for our first class. When i entered the class room, everyone was still lethargic from lack of sleep, even the chef was still a bit sluggish. The first class went well besides the fact that everyone had their own Morpheus influenced trips. First Class, So far so good! After this catering lecture, i went down eight floors since my next class was not until fourty minutes after nine, to meet up with some folks who had the same time of class as i have, and to have a smoke and a cup of coffee from Ate Donna's Eatery, since Ate Lily's Diner was still closed. While enjoying a cup of Ate Donna's famous 3 in one coffee and a Marlboro Menthol Lights stick of cigarette, i was informed that last tuesday, 5 minutes after i left to go home, there was a stabbing at the exact spot where i was waiting. Talk about being providential. And so after everything, i headed for my next class where we delt with numbers and X's from nine forty till eleven and where after that i had a two hour break in Ate Donna's Eatery and this i was with chase. From eleven to one, i did nothing but take pictures of everyone, even this cutie beside me! hehehe! she didn't know i took her picture though so, i can't post that and show you guys how cute she is. When one came i headed straight for my Marketing class which was until two, with my classic and unconventional Professor Miss Bam. This is where it gets interesting, she gave us a chance to write for her on some of her friend's magazines and news papers, and of course she promised us that she'd let us put our byline so that we could frame our work, if ever it was published. So Far So Good.. After Marketing is another two hour break until my next and last class which was already catering from five to eight. These last two hours were composed of "Gin Rummy" or "Tong-its" and a consumption of at least a liter of Sarsi or Pop with Ayo, Paul and James. So far my Card Game record is 10-10-5 (Wins, Draws, Losses). So Far so good.. and basically after everything, it was time for the function. After the first function disaster, everyone was in the mood to make up for it. And actually we did great, our kitchen efficiency imnproved from being 30 minutes behind schedule last function to only 5 to 10. Not bad, considering it was just our second function. Now you can identify who were serious and who aren't. because from what i saw, the five to ten minute delay were because of the people who were basically just playing in the kitchen. Sad really, what a wate of good education. Anyways, after everything, i just waited for vic and primo for awhile and headed straight home..

What a long day, but to be honest, it's actually the first time in a long time that i can say that i like what i'm doing and it's school related.. hmm.. cool! i dunno, maybe this is a sign that i am maturing.. hahaha! anyways.. i'm now on my way to bed i still have a hang over from Wacks' sister's Birthday! Adios! PEACE!! Blog Again!
