DAY 22 - 24: Westcoast Roadtrip

We started the road trip last Tuesday to Bass lake and made our way to Yosemite National Park and to our last stop in Monterey Bay which was today. The past week i didn't really expect to enjoy my stay here but so far so good.. The whole road trip was about nature and all that.. which is actually good since the past few weeks i've been either in the City or in Suburbia, and it's a nice change of scenery and a shit load of fresh air.. hehe

Bass Lake

It's nothing special really, just that our Cabin was a few walks to the lake which is just spectacular at nice since it's all moonlit and all. How'd i know? well, that's where i had a few of my yosi breaks the night we stayed there. Ok, how nice is it?! ok, 12 am.. the moon's reflection is in the lake and because of that the whole lake is illuminated by it and the backgrund are the snowcapped mountains while the coyotes are howling.. hmm.. lovely.. (wishing i had someone with me that time)

Yosemite National Park

And I thought i'd only see this on the Discovery Channel! haha! The park is huge and words just can't describe how lovely it is. The El Capitan (The World's biggest Rock), Cathedral Rock and Sentinel Rocks are just huge and breath taking! No to mention the Yosemite Falls and the Bridal Veil falls. Too bad we didn't get to see the half dome and the Giant Sequoia's! oh well, i'll be back.. definately.. Anyway, the place was just Lovely i just have to say, i'm lucky to be one of billions of people to have the right to say "I've been to Yosemite and it's was just great" (pictures to follow)

Monterey Bay

Right after Yosemite, we headed straight for Monterey Bay in which we stayed at this cabin right beside the Beach (Perfect, Beach right after the Mountains.. hehehe). The place was just like the cover of the Incubus Album "Morning View". It was just perfect.. The waves were huge and i mean, more than footers and they even curl up at the shore. (pictures to follow) Anyway, the last time i was in Monterey was seven years ago and so for nothing drastic has changed especially at Cannery Row.. but it's still as pretty as always. This part of the trip is actually for Dad since this is where you can find Pebble Beach (the golf course). Anyway, we passed through the 17 mile drive where the Spansh Links on the Bay, Poppy Hills, Spy Glass Hill and The Lone Cypress are found (they are golf courses).. Dad was like in toys are us awhile ago.. hehehehe

Anyway, it's our last day here in the State tomorrow.. so far so good.. i can't wait to get home.. anyway, till tomorrow
