"2-1:See You in the Magical Bernabeu Mallorca!"

The Bernabéu stadium will decide which team will be the winner of the Supercup. Real Madrid didn't enjoy its visit to Son Moix (2-1). The result is the only positive point: the double value of the goals in case of draw makes Real Madrid have many possibilities of winning the Supercup. But Real Madrid's play have no intensity or vertical position in the flanks. Its play was based on personal and individual moves that this time were not enough to win the match. Ibagaza was the leader of the local team. The players couldn't snatch victory in the island, but the title has no owner yet. The solution, on Wednesday 27th.
Queiroz planned a very offensive match: Beckham, Zidane, Figo, Ra?l and Ronaldo, all of them in the field to lead Real Madrid to victory. The coach placed Cambiasso in the same position he played against Valencia, in front of the back line to stop Mallorca´s drives. Jaime Pacheco bet for the forward pairing Bruggink-Etoo and the magic of Ibagaza, who continues playing for Mallorca, in spite of the rumours about his contract.

White Missile
The local team enjoyed their first opportunities: Casillas -excellent performance during the whole match- cleared with his body a shot from Bruggink (10’) and Etoo, after playing a perfect one-two with the Dutch player, kicked the ball out (14’). Mallorca dominated the encounter in that moment. However, as Real Madrid doesn't need to be inspired to get into the rival's area, the first goal came easily after Beckham swung a corner-kick that Figo turned into a goal (19’). In minute 27’, Ronaldo was left alone in front of the goalkeeper Leo Franco, but Ni?o avoided the ball found the netIbagaza, the leader
This action didn't stop the man managed by Pacheco, although it balanced the one to one moves. Ibagaza moved the ball without problems but they did not get into the flanks. Bruggink blew two scoring opportunities (25’ y 29’), and Campano, two more (33’ y 41’).

The Whites answered alternatively, with a few quality actions made by some of its best players. Enough to survive, but not enough to win the match. Maybe the heat and humidity did not help to play with more intensity.
