So.. 2009... What can I say.. Last year, I made a toast to the Happy Days of 2009. This year it's gonna be to the EPIC DAYS OF 2010! That's right.. My new year's resolution is "To Do Something Epic". Whatever it is, as long as it's epic, It's Resolution completed.

Day 11.. 4 days left..

Don't you just hate it when someone comes up to you and asks "are you OK?" just because you're quiet and not in the mood to talk, since you have nothing better to say anyway?.. It's just annoying, can't a person shut up for awhile without having any problems? sheesh..

Anyway, crunch time. It's make or break.. last 4 days of training. It's pass or Fail, no in betweens. 3 days of regular production and Friday would be the grand buffet. 3 dishes per person, 30 guests.. No Filipino food allowed, No simple entrees. Everything has to be intricate.. Everything has to be special.. Normal is not allowed..

Thank God I'g coming home tomorrow.. I can't wait to sleep in my bed and watch TV.. So just like last week, I haven't watched any TV for the past 4 days.. Shit, I need ESPN and Euro Sport..

One more night after this and I'm heading back to Alabang.. I can't tell you how much I want to go home right now.. And this is just Antipolo, what more when we actually leave already..

so.. first off.. good presentation on my product, 4 shots of brandy and a shit load of beer and no dinner.. Good day! hehe just dunno how the hell a am gonna wake up tomorrow morning.. fuck! let's have future mon take care of that problem.. hehe

Day 7.. Last of the month..

So far so good.. It's just bums me out that I wasn't able to enjoy the long weekend and I wasn't able to go around that much in the annual bazaar. Anyway, fuck it.. I don't want to ponder on that..

Day 4..

So far so good.. I'm getting slightly home sick.. If it wern't for the "cook whatever you want but clean up after rule" i'd actually commute home right now. I was talking to one of my friends here about this being home sick and he mentioned that you'd be more home sick here than abroad since, you know that you'll be able to go home when your here whenever you want.. But when your abroad, you know your 10,000 miles away and you can't do nothing.. Makes sense actually..

Anyway.. Last day of the week tomorrow and I'd get to go home for the weekend.. Can't wait to sleep in my bed and take a hot shower, we don't have a heater here and it's freezing cold in the morning. Oh yeah, and have an ice cold beer..... like 10 ice cold beers.. haha!

In Traning Day 2..

So far so good.. This place perfect.. They have a well equipped kitchen, and the people i am with are great. It just gets really gloomy and lonely at night since we're here up in the mountains and it's hard to connect in the net.. 3 more days and i have the weekend off.. for some reason, i can't wait to get home..

Hiatus..

So it's gonna be a three week blog Hiatus for me. Training starts today and we'll be secluded up in the mountains of Antipolo. Wish me luck..

Steady Monday..

Was supposed to have my "Pre-Departure" seminar in the office today, but for some reason the person who was gonna conduct the seminar took a sick leave. The HR didn't inform us.. The office is pretty far from where I live (because of the traffic). I went there for nothing but thank God it's right in front of Fort Santiago. So instead of wasting my trip i just made the best out of it and went inside the fort instead.. The last time i was there, I think I was like 12 or something.. Too bad I didn't have a camera on hand.. C'est La Vie.

Now that Halloween is done and over with we just have Christmas left in our list or if ever you guys are celebrating Thanksgiving then good for you (You have one more event to look forward to before Christmas)! And speaking of Halloween, this was a pretty steady one. I didn't get hammered, I didn't got trick or treating with my nephew and I didn't wear a costume.. Come to think of it, It kinda sounds sad actually.. or maybe I'm just getting old, but anyway, a steady night at Vic's place with the roots and a shit load of beer and some scotch plus a quick stop at Olav's and that was the night.. Good Vibes..

On other things, I've already passed all my requirements for work and basically I'm just waiting for boot camp which starts at the 23rd of November till the 11th of December.. so far so good..

What else is there?

A 4 - 0 loss to Alcorcon.. I'm speechless.. I am disappointed as a fan. WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING IN THAT LOCKER ROOM?! Even my brother who couldn't care less about football and Real Madrid asked me about this humiliating loss.. I am speechless.. This is a very very bad way to start your second term Mr. Perez, you have to do something ASAP!

Training #1.. Check!

OK, so the Safety On Life at Sea (SOLAS) training is done (Training #1). I just have to get my certificate tomorrow and head to the Marina to file for a Seafarer's record book. A month long rest after that and then I'm heading for Antipolo for another course on Culinary (Training #2). So far so good.. all my requirements are in check and on hand.. I'm basically just waiting for the training and the medical exam.. I'm really trying to push to leave on January so that I can spend Christmas and New Years here at home.. I pray everything goes to plan..

On other things, All of last night's UEFA Champions League matches were upsets! Which is good and bad at the same time, depends on the team your rooting for. Barcelona and Liverpool lost last night and Inter drew against a mediocre team.. There's always a day like this in the UCL, I just didn't expect it to be this soon.. Anyway, tonight's highlight will be Milan against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. It's the first time since his transfer that Kaka will face his old team and this is the first UCL game this season for Madrid without CR9. Let's see.. this looks pretty interesting...
