Day 7.. Last of the month..

So far so good.. It's just bums me out that I wasn't able to enjoy the long weekend and I wasn't able to go around that much in the annual bazaar. Anyway, fuck it.. I don't want to ponder on that..

On other things.. 25 days till Christmas..

Day 4..

So far so good.. I'm getting slightly home sick.. If it wern't for the "cook whatever you want but clean up after rule" i'd actually commute home right now. I was talking to one of my friends here about this being home sick and he mentioned that you'd be more home sick here than abroad since, you know that you'll be able to go home when your here whenever you want.. But when your abroad, you know your 10,000 miles away and you can't do nothing.. Makes sense actually..

Anyway.. Last day of the week tomorrow and I'd get to go home for the weekend.. Can't wait to sleep in my bed and take a hot shower, we don't have a heater here and it's freezing cold in the morning. Oh yeah, and have an ice cold beer..... like 10 ice cold beers.. haha!

In Traning Day 2..

So far so good.. This place perfect.. They have a well equipped kitchen, and the people i am with are great. It just gets really gloomy and lonely at night since we're here up in the mountains and it's hard to connect in the net.. 3 more days and i have the weekend off.. for some reason, i can't wait to get home..

Hiatus..

So it's gonna be a three week blog Hiatus for me. Training starts today and we'll be secluded up in the mountains of Antipolo. Wish me luck..

Steady Monday..

Was supposed to have my "Pre-Departure" seminar in the office today, but for some reason the person who was gonna conduct the seminar took a sick leave. The HR didn't inform us.. The office is pretty far from where I live (because of the traffic). I went there for nothing but thank God it's right in front of Fort Santiago. So instead of wasting my trip i just made the best out of it and went inside the fort instead.. The last time i was there, I think I was like 12 or something.. Too bad I didn't have a camera on hand.. C'est La Vie.

Now that Halloween is done and over with we just have Christmas left in our list or if ever you guys are celebrating Thanksgiving then good for you (You have one more event to look forward to before Christmas)! And speaking of Halloween, this was a pretty steady one. I didn't get hammered, I didn't got trick or treating with my nephew and I didn't wear a costume.. Come to think of it, It kinda sounds sad actually.. or maybe I'm just getting old, but anyway, a steady night at Vic's place with the roots and a shit load of beer and some scotch plus a quick stop at Olav's and that was the night.. Good Vibes..

On other things, I've already passed all my requirements for work and basically I'm just waiting for boot camp which starts at the 23rd of November till the 11th of December.. so far so good..

What else is there?

A 4 - 0 loss to Alcorcon.. I'm speechless.. I am disappointed as a fan. WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING IN THAT LOCKER ROOM?! Even my brother who couldn't care less about football and Real Madrid asked me about this humiliating loss.. I am speechless.. This is a very very bad way to start your second term Mr. Perez, you have to do something ASAP!

Training #1.. Check!

OK, so the Safety On Life at Sea (SOLAS) training is done (Training #1). I just have to get my certificate tomorrow and head to the Marina to file for a Seafarer's record book. A month long rest after that and then I'm heading for Antipolo for another course on Culinary (Training #2). So far so good.. all my requirements are in check and on hand.. I'm basically just waiting for the training and the medical exam.. I'm really trying to push to leave on January so that I can spend Christmas and New Years here at home.. I pray everything goes to plan..

On other things, All of last night's UEFA Champions League matches were upsets! Which is good and bad at the same time, depends on the team your rooting for. Barcelona and Liverpool lost last night and Inter drew against a mediocre team.. There's always a day like this in the UCL, I just didn't expect it to be this soon.. Anyway, tonight's highlight will be Milan against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. It's the first time since his transfer that Kaka will face his old team and this is the first UCL game this season for Madrid without CR9. Let's see.. this looks pretty interesting...

Prediction: Madrid 2 - 0 (Kaka, Raul)

Training..

I've been waking up at 5 in the morning this past week to go to Taft Avenue for this "Basic Safety Training" I need to attend for work. I haven't gotten up this early in a long time (the last time I woke up this early was just to piss, and as far as I can remember, it was last week). Anyway, this is just a two week thing and it's already day 5 so.. three more days.

What else.. Ok, so this is the last thing I have to do as far as my list of requirements go. After this, It's another traning in Antipolo and then goodbye Manila and hello World! hehehe.. niiice!

So.. another typhoon is on it's way here in the PI. Son of a bitch! as if we need more of that shit! I love the rain yeah?! I'm a rain person, but this shit is too much man! There are still a shit load of people trying to recover from last weeks crazy ass storm and now we have something that's accordong to the news that is a category 5?

Give it a rest man! pleeeease!

1st of the Month

Start the month right and help with feeding the typhoon victims and donate some old clothes, one of my friends said yesterday. Or maybe she's just saying that so that she's have someone to go with her. Anyway, I did do those things and it actually feels fulfilling and besides, I was ranting about not helping out the other day so I guess this is just right. Thus because of this, today was a good day.. A very very good day!

Too Much Vodka..

First off.. Congrats Donna! after a whole weekend of news about calamity and all that shit! At least it's good to hear that theres a blessing coming up! I want to be the Godfather of that kid! hahahahaha!

Speaking of calamity, everyone is been acting up on helping and shit like that for those less fortunate and victims of the crazy ass typhoon. And I haven't done shit yet... I feel like a jackass.. Maybe i'll help out in church tomorrow...

ANYWAY.. I'm pretty drunk but again, Congratulations Donna! that's really coool! I'm speachless.. probably because of the alcohol but yeah! that's really nice!! :D

Old Blogs..

I was just skimming though my old blogs just a few minutes ago and I just realized that my blog entries from May 2007 to December 2007, mostly consisted of complaints. Complaints about how my job sucks dick and I needed a good job. And also for some reasons those entries are a few of the most interesting entries I've written in this blog (I was being too honest I guess). And by reading those I also realize that "jesus jones".. I really hated my job back then!

Being a front desk agent in a hotel is not for me. I've learned a lot for that job, I'll give you that, but as far as I'm concerned.. I WILL NEVER WORK IN A HOTEL DESK AGAIN (unless of course.. the world is gonna explode if I don't or I get a hot chick to be my wife.. or If I really don't have a choice)..

To my old Co-workers: You guys are cool and thank you for everything, I never really gotten to thank you guys since I slapped you guys with my resignation without even giving you guys a hint...

Weekender..

Another weekend, another roadtrip.. This weekends destination was a quick stop to Manaoag, Pangasinan to visit the Shrine of Mary and Baguio again for the third time this year. It's alright, I'm just in it for the drive and I have nothing planned on the long weekend anyway, besides a long line of parties consisting of booze and drunk people. So what the hell right?

Speaking of the drive, though it's tiring and mentally draining since I have a lot of backseat drivers, It was just awesome. Especially when they have already dozed off from the long drive, You get the chance to contemplate and enjoy the great scenery of the rice fields in Tarlac and Pangasinan and the mountain ranges heading to Baguio through Kennon road. It was just lovely.

Roadtrip!

Trip No. 3 to Baguio in a few.. Nice!! I'll blog about it when I get back.. Ciao!
