Colds + Basketball = Why don't you just shoot me?! squeeze all six shots and murder me! I just hate it when i get sick, I feel so worthless. Anyways, yesterday i already knew that i was sick. But.. Of course since i love the game of ball so much, i just had to play in our semi-final game 1 against the blue team even for just a little while. At that time my mentality was "If Michael Jordan can play with a bad stomach and a flu, i just have a bad case of colds so why can't i play?!" Now that i'm thinking about it, i'm stuck in the house, i missed my class, i have a major headache, i have a stuffy nose and i feel so weak. What more can i ask for?! Shieeet.. I'm hitting the sack.. (It's just 9:06 a.m.)

UEFA EURO 2004 in Portugal

The groundwork for a European national-team competition began in 1956, two years later the first European Nations' Cup, now known as the UEFA European Championship, was under way. Year 2000, France won in the final against Italy 2-1 in Belgium and Netherlands with David Trezeguet scoring the winning goal. Now, the venue is in Portugal, will France be able to defend their crown as European Nation's Champions?! we will see in 15 days.

And you know damn well i'll be cheering for Spain

0-3: Porto takes the European Crown home!

In the end it was quite one-sided, but until FC Porto opened the scoring it had been hard to separate the two best teams in Europe this season. At first it seemed the pace and directness of Ludovic Giuly might tip the balance in favour of the underdogs, but an adductor muscle injury to the AS Monaco FC captain after 22 minutes effectively ended their challenge. Fernando Morientes, seeking a fourth UEFA Champions League winners' medal, rarely threatened while Jérôme Rothen played in fits and starts. Once Carlos Alberto had taken his chance with youthful abandon, Monaco's hopes rested largely on Porto becoming careless. Instead Deco and Dmitri Alenichev's breakaway goals underlined Porto's superiority. Monaco in the end could not match the organisation and tactical nous of Porto. Their first goal may have been out of the blue, but they drew Monaco in during the second half, and with deadly timing produced two sucker punches to end the match as a contest. Mourinho, in little over two years, has built a side whose team ethic and tactical intelligence are the match of anyone that has lifted the European Champion Clubs' Cup.Congratulations to F.C. Porto!

The Match:
AS Monaco: Roma; Ibarra, Rodriguez, Givet (Squillaci, 72'), Evra; Cisse, Bernardi, Zikos; Giuly (Pršo, 23'), Rothen and Morientes.
FC Porto: Victor Baia; Nuno Valente, Ricardo Carvalho, Jorge Costa, Paulo Ferreira; Maniche, Costinha, Mendez; Deco (Pedro Emmanuel, 85'); Carlos Alberto and Derlei (McCarthy, 78').
Goals:
0-1 (39'): The headed clearance is crossed back in to Carlos Alberto on the penalty spot, and as the ball bounces in the area he swivels to score his first Champions League goal - at 19 the third youngest to score in the final.
0-2 (71'): The lead doubles after a swift counterattack from Porto. Deco picks up the ball in his own half, runs forward 40 metres, plays a one-two with Alenichev in the box and, after a little feint, chips the ball past Roma.
0-3 (75'): Alenichev the subtitute who also scored in last year's UEFA Cup final, makes the most of another break as Derlei's cross deflects into his path. The finish is emphatic.
Referees: Kim Milton Nielsen (DEN), Jørgen Jepsen (DEN), Knud Erik Fisker (DEN) and Jens Larsen (DEN). Cards on Nuno Valente, Carlos Alberto and Jorge Costa. all of them are from FC Porto.
Other Facts: Aufschalke Stadium in Gelsenkrichen, Germany Full.

Wednesday, May 26, 2004

Either France or Portugal will be crowned as European Champions, as tonight is the UEFA Champions League Final. As FC Porto and AS Monaco steps into the pitch of the Arena Aufschalke in Gelsenkirchen Germany, they will be playing for their names to be added in Europe's most illustrous honour. Only a few people thought that these two teams will be able to reach the final, for their previous oppenents were football giants namely AC Milan for FC Porto and Real Madrid C.F. for AS Monaco. Nevertheless these teams have proved to everyone that they are indeed, wothy of being in the final by making one of the most-outstanding football comebacks in history of European Football. None of the continent's so-called bigger clubs played consistently well enough in this season's competition to feel deserving of taking their place.

Match Preview:
Monaco, with more goals that any other team in the Champions League. Porto, with their 10th straight victory in the Champions League. Will the skills of Monaco's Fernando Morientes and the electrfying pace of Ludovic Guily prevail over Porto's experienced Jorge Costa and his young defensive side-kick Ricardo Carvalho? Will Porto's attack-minded right back Paulo Ferreira prevail against Monaco's mecurial left winger Jérôme Rothen? I guess whoever spends more time in the opposing half will become a crucial factor in winning this match. We also have to take in mind that Monaco has to deal with the threat posed from midfield by the brilliant Brazilian-born Deco and his fellow Portuguese international Maniche.

Off the pitch we have FC Porto's José Mourinho, who has a lot of motivation for they have already won the UEFA Cup. On the other end we have Didier Deschamps who is in the brink of being the youngest European Cup-winning coach.

Goodluck to both teams!

"Quieroz SACKED! Jose Antonio Camacho HIRED!

José Antonio Camacho spoke plainly as new Real Madrid coach for the next two seasons. Florentino Pérez presented him in public and explained the reasons why ex Benfica manager will be taking over Santiago Bernabéu bench. In the company of Jorge Valdano, sitting to the left of the President, Camacho (to the right side of Mr. Pérez) gave his first press conference as Real Madrid coach. He spoke plainly without eluding any issue. Camacho explained his ideas and denied having the intention of using a whip: "What did you tell Ronaldo? The bogeyman is coming?". This is the old inimitable Camacho.

Words from Real Madrid President Florentino Perez

"The presentation of José Antonio Camacho as Real Madrid coach is a wish come true. It is a very deep wish shared by everybody because I have always dreamt that Camacho would be coaching Real one day, just like him. I trust him as a human being for all his skills, authority, honesty and strength. Camacho needs no explanation of the essence and soul of madridismo, because he devoted his best years to this team. His legs must still remember all the sacrifice. We did not speak to him until we told Queiroz about his removal from office. The whole thing has been done properly."

I work hard to take care of everyone of my brothers, feel the love and appreciation from all of my brothers, when i think, meditate, contemplate for my soul, watch the truth manifests once the story's unfold. Disloyal mothef*ckers i'ma banish you all and celebrate all your actions once i get rid of you all, sometimes i can't explain the wicked shit i feel in my heart, break my silence and sporadically tear you apart. Strike with a serious vengance and before you die! i'll put you through your worst and make you take a look in my eye, so you can witness the extreme damage caused by betreyal, make you sorry for the fact that you attempted and failed. Make you eternally suffer you was one of my friends, turn your back and i'd make sure you get it times ten. Stay true, now that's one thing i religiously pledge, and if your not with me, i'll throw you way over the edge.. This means War!

Tomorrow it the first day of the first term of the school year 2004-2005. I'm still not sure if i spent my summer vacation right, you know what i mean?! If you study in a La Salle school here in the Philippines, you goddamn well know that every Term break, Christmas break and Summer break is important because you know it doesn't last long and you must make the most out of that. Not like Ateneo and the University of the Philippines where sometimes, their breaks last for months at a time. Now for those people asking why i'm babbling about this shit, i guess your question is answered. Anyways, it's not that i don't want to go back to school yet, i mean to tell you the truth, i'm a bit excited to return to the International Center to see my homies again. It's just that, i'm just not that sure if i'm already aight to go back. I mean, we're still in the third week of May! You got to be retarded to be starting school at this time! Normally we start at the first week of June! Sheeeeit! Can't do shit about this no more! Unless i call the school and tell them there's a bomb.. but i ain't that Crazy! Anyway, Here's a recap of what the hell happened this summer... (Now i'm starting to wish i was back in Wesmont.. Shieet)

April 7 - May 24

- April 7 - 11 - I was restarting on some business that was on hold for months.. (I was doing pretty well)
- April 11 - May 8 - The United States of America.. (Detroit, Chicago, Minnesota, Virginia, New York, Boston, Florida and then back to Chicago)
- May 10 - Too bad i had to leave for the States, the business became a bit of a Mess...
- May 18 - 20 - Fontana With the Youth (This some fun shit.. but let's not talk about it)
- May 22 - Enrollment
- May 23 - Now, I'm Writting this Shit..

As you know, i love the beach and all that shit.. but as you can see.. i never went to any beaches (Sad.. *Shaking My Head*). It's just sad to think.. "KAHIT FUEGO MAN LANG!". Almost everyone i know went to Boracay this summer and when they we're there, they were all together getting wasted in that island paradise (and i was in the states, Online because there ain't nothing to do in our place when the sun sets, and it's cold so NO BEACHES). And everytime they bring up that topic about being in Boracay, i just put my head down and keep my fuckin' mouth shut because i didn'e go there this summer. "I was in the states, sorry pare.." and they'd go like, "sayang dude! dapat nag bora ka nalang!".. Yeah man, don't rub it in! See the bitterness in my eyes?! This is what happens to a person who loves the beach, and doesn't get to go to one on his summer break.. (HE FUCKIN' SNAPS!) anyways, i'll hit the sack.. maybe this is just indigestion or something.. Shieeeet.. PEACE!

Flashbacks this May with the weight of the world can't stop this girl from
steppin', i'm lookin' for affection in wrong places, my lesson to learn, the world
turns, the early bird gets the worm. What if it's rotten while you rushin' for
love and get burned? My homies that's my only concern. My Brother was a father before he
became a man. Society don't comprehend. i look so worthless, but I could
purchase what they purchase, but I understand behind closed curtains i'm workin
on being a man. Death scares me, but Jesus will prepare me, and hopefully
repair me cuz God would want him to, really really, people see the thug,
wash your sins, then it's true you can be born again..

Nobody Can stop Me..

May 21, 2004 ( Can't play this game no more girl..)

Good-bye to the game all the spoils, the adreneline rush
Your blood boils you in a spot knowing you could rush
And you in a drop your so easy to touch
No two days are alike
Except the first and fifteenth pretty much
And "trust" is a word you seldom hear from me
I don't sleep, i rest with one eye up
And the drought to find a man when the well dries up
You learn to work the water without workin thirst til die YUP
And I get tied up
I Pray i'm forgiven
For every bad decision i made
Every sister i played
Cause i'm still paranoid to this day
And it's nobody fault i made the decisions i made
This is the life i chose or rather the life that chose me..

I never wrote my Momma anything this mother's day, so i'll just post this part of a rap..

"Ey Ma, how you doin, it's ya son now
And I picked up the mic and put the drugs down
Now I'm tryin to do some things that'll make you proud
Instead of everytime I call it's to bail me out
Oh why didn't I listen to things you used to tell me
Knowin that everything that you said would never fail me
Like 'they got plans for ya
Ain't nothin I can do when them laws get they hands on ya'
But I ain't listenin, even payin attention
I'm just tryna get mine
Takin advantage, on your job at the same time
Ungrateful, complainin about Nike and Polo signs
But you always come through, and what do I do
I wreck both our cars,
Smoked dope out ya yard, stayed into with them laws
Tryin to pay you back for all the stress that I caused
And always be there to give you whatever you want.."

Here are some of the Pictures i took during our trip...

As one of the biggest fans of the Spanish Futbol Giants Real Madrid, It's very disappointing to accept the fact that they aren't going to win any titles this year. To think that they are considered one of the most powerful futbol teams in the world, it's just hard to swallow. When the season started, many people were rooting for the whites to win all the three titles that are on the line. Also alot of people were rooting against them because they are just too damn powerful. Especially when they acquired the English Captain from Manchester United "David Beckham". I can't believe that those people rooting against the Whites actually got their wish. As you all know, the Whites also have the Brazilian Connection Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos, the Portuguese Superstar Luis Figo, Spanish captain Raul and the world's best football player Zinedine Zidane. Now i don't know why a team with this much fire power can still loose. How can a team with this much skill rely on luck and not on their players capabilities?.. Disappointing really.. I hope they do much better next season..

What i think went wrong this Season:
- The firing of Vicente Del Bosque and the Hiring of Francisco Quieroz. (Obviously Quieroz is having a hard time controlling a team with this much skill)

"Snap back to reality.. (Oops there goes gravity)"

Anyways, now that i'm back i still got time to go to the beach before the school year starts. Damn, i can't believe three weeks and four days can go on so fast. I can still read the entry i wrote before i left. It's 4:30 a.m and i got jetlag.. i'ma try to hit the sack! PEACE! blog tomorrow!

The Suso Entry.. (Tagalog)

Dito sa America marami akong nakita. Maraming kanaisnais at maraming di kanaisnais.

May susong pantay, may susong parang sungay, may susong patulis at merong ding madikit..
May susong bilog, may susong patalbog, may susong hulog at lalo na yung mga pang sabog..
May susong lawlaw, may susong dilaw, may susong pang nakahubad.. yung parang pang porno..

ITAAS MO!!!

From Florida and Back (to Chicago)..

I just got back (in Chicago) from Florida. The last time i was there was, 8 years ago and basically nothing much changed, new malls maybe but nothing extraordinary. Anyways, there we spent the whole week going to theme parks and going shopping (that's some tiring shit!). Now, were just gonna be hanging here in Chicago for the rest of the week until we head back home. Maybe shop some more for my Mom, Sister and the rest of the crew, but for me.. i'll just hang around here, go play ball and all that shit maybe, but no more shopping, i always end up carrying the stuff for them and not buying anything and believe me, that shit ain't nice. For some reason, i can't wait to go home. I know it's not because of a woman (maybe, but i'm leaning on i'm sure it's not), and i'm pretty sure it's not because of school (which reminds me, it's up in 3 weeks.. goddamnit!).. maybe it's the beach and i'm getting sick of this cold weather.. Probably..hmm.. i wonder.. Anyways.. here's a recap on what happened!

Orlando, Florida
- EPCOT Center is still the shieet (Nice ass fireworks display)
- Magic Kingdom is still the Shiteet (Classic!)

Minnesot-AHHHHH

After 6 hours of sitting and all that shit, i'm finally glad to back here in Chicago. Yes, it's 6 hours. Aight check, 6 hours not because there is traffic, 6 hours because of the distance. So you can just imagine how far that frekin' place is! (450 miles!) You can take the plane if you wanted too (Just an hours worth of sitting..), but that'll be too costy, hehe.. anyways.. I went to the biggest mall in America.. The Mall of America (MOA).. Yeah it's big aight, but not as big as the Filinvest Fiesta Mall! (From Makati City take the SLEX and then Exit in Filinvest! only 30 min. away without traffic and 1 hour and 30 of more with traffic!). It took us 2 days just to see the whole mall. Basically we went to Minneapolis Minnesota just to go to a mall (DAMN!). Anyways, on the more sporty shit, i went inside the Target Center (Home of the Minnesota Timberwolves). There wasn't anyone there because the playoff game wasn't due until tomorrow but the good thing is, i saw Wally Sczerbiack outside the stadium, Yeah.. Wally.. Now, i'm back here in Chicago, Hmmm.. what to do...

Update
-The Lakers nip the Rockets in a close game
-The Pacers beat the Celtics
-The Nets beat the Knicks
-The Spurs beat the Grizzlies
-I got a Jayson Williams jersey instead of a Tyson Chandler because my uncle said Chandler is just plain stupid
-Still no Mia Hamm jersey

3-1: 10th European Title on hold!

The two targets that Monaco's captain hit, plus Morientes', ruined all Madrid's hopes to go on with the European adventure. Raúl put his team ahead in the first quarter, but the home side reacted in the second one and succeded in their determination to turn the score round. They will be playing the semifinal with Chelsea, which also gave everybody a bit of surprise. Contrary to all predictions, Real is now out of the Champions League, with no chance to confirm the customary continental achievement in the even years. Queiroz' squad fought hard all the way through, but the second goal never got in (as Raul's hit was finally disallowed). It would have been the qualifying goal for Real. Congratulations to AS Monaco. A battle well fought!

THE MATCH:
3 – AS MONACO: Roma; Givet, Rodriguez, Ibarra, Evra; Plasil, Rothen, Cisse, Giuly (El Fakiri 81´); Morientes (Adebayor 84´) and Prso (Nonda 60´).
1 – REAL MADRID: Casillas; Salgado (Raul Bravo 84´), Helguera, Mejia, Roberto Carlos; Borja (Solari 70´), Guti (Portillo 87´), Figo, Zidane; Raul and Ronaldo.
GOALS:
0-1, min.35: Ronaldo advances, passes it to Guti, who lets Raul have it and follow through.
1-1, min.45: Morientes heads the ball for Giuly, who nets the ball
2-1, min.47: Morientes heads the ball into the net from a pass by Evra.
3-1, min.65: Ibarra's shot is cleared by the defence, Giuly controls the ball with his heel and scores.
REFEREE: Pierluigi Collina (Italy). Helguera (29´) and Borja (59´) were cautioned.
OTHER FACTS: Champions League quarterfinals. Luis II Stadium, 18,000 spectators. Prince Rainiero and his son Alberto of Monaco presided over the match from the royal box in the company of Florentino Perez. Carlos Queiroz ruled out Jordi. 1.000 Real Madrid fans on the stands.

#40 (reprint)

Share the time again
I spend with you
A friend is always good to have
But a lovers kiss is better than angels raining down at me
I dream of you at times
When your by my side
Dream you're not just like you are
So troubled and doubling my pain
Just one more tear
You shed for me
I wish that i could climb inside your mind
And spend some time in there hug and hold you
And mold you into what I'd like
Lord, i can't do this
Just a kiss to spend a while by you
And a familiar smell and voice
While I lay waiting
Then you lean back and smiling
On you
Most everything you do for me, I say
And the while let's make our way
And feel warm
In the middle of this storm with you
Love will grow, angel
Oh well, oh the freinds the say oh she's good, oh she's right
I say
When you were again
When you were my friend
Before the lie, lie
This one
Say, say... oh yes
Yes I do
And with you
Sometimes
But while i do my best
With all the rest I leave to you
Can't wait for the hour
When two things become this
Always All this trouble from a kiss from you
I'll do it
And then you come up smiling
And I'm thrown
Until I get a little storm with you, I'll do it
Always, all the love
Lovers, line up and yeah
Impossible, but lead you go oh but a loves stole
The road to you is long and
I've been on it for a while
And I need a warm embrace
I'll take a break
And decide I want to leave you awake
Always
And you are all there
Time, I'll give it
And I feel
Tired...

5-1: The White's eat Sevilla ALIVE!!

Five minutes into the game Santiago Solari scored the first of plenty goals for the whites. The whites squad taught sevilla a lesson on how to play good football under the pouring rain. Guti acted beautifully as conductor of the orchestra. The other goals of the night were scored by Ronaldo (his 31st target so far this season), Zidane and Salgado. The final score certainly made up for the bad results Madrid got when they visited Seville. The coach thought it suitable to give a break to Roberto Carlos and Zidane once the game was definitely sorted out. The coming week will be the first one in many that Real will not have to step on the pitch, although half of the team will be on international duty with their home country squads.

"4-2: Spanish Cup Hangover"

It looks like the whites still have a hang over from their defeat in the Spanish cup. A 4-2 score show's that their morale, form and physical shape were affected. Yeste, Urzaiz and Del Horno took advantage of this to make their win against the whites, which rallied from the 2-0 halftime score. The local squad displayed two powerful drives on their pitch (one in the first half and another one in the middle of the second period). Both local thrusts proved enough to put an end to their bad streak. Raul was the scorer of the two white goals, also putting an end to his scoring drought. This loss put's an end to Madrid's 9 game La Liga winning streak (their last defeat was by Real Sociedad). Madrid's next match is gonna be this wednesday, against AS Monaco in the Champions league. They have to get their form back in order to win. AS Monaco is no joke especially with Fernando Morientes being there, it's gonna be a sweet for him if ever they do win.

THE MATCH:
4 - ATHLETIC CLUB: Aranzubia; Lacruz, Prieto, Javi Gonzalez, Iraola; Gurpegui, Del Horno, Tiko (Orbaiz 57'), Etxeberria, Yeste (Ezquerro 66'); and Urzaiz (Guerrero 86').
2 - REAL MADRID: Casillas; Salgado, Helguera, Mejia, Roberto Carlos; Beckham (Cambiasso 87'), Guti, Solari, Figo; Zidane (Borja 82') and Raul (Portillo 87').
GOALS:
1-0, min.40: Yeste beats Casillas from the edge of the area.
2-0, min.43: Urzaiz heads the ball into the net from a free kick taken by Etxeberria.
2-1, min.46: Ra?l takes advantage of a loose ball in the area.
2-2, min.61: Ra?l hits from a very precise shot by Roberto Carlos.
3-2, min.74: Del Horno, header, following a free kick by Orbaiz.
4-2, min.76: Del Horno dribbles past Helguera and beats Casillas with a low shot.
REFEREE: Teixeira Vitienes (Cantabria Referees Association). Figo, Ezquerro, Guti and Urzaiz were cautioned.
OTHER FACTS: Liga Matchday 29. San Mames Stadium, three quarters of attendance. Before the game, a group of children wearing the Atheltic kit set free a few doves in memory of the victims of March 11th.

2-3: The Spanish Cup Curse remains with the Whites

It was a most intense and tense game; filled with nerves rather than smooth playing, which resulted in Madrid's letting the Cup go once again. Zaragoza will take the Trophy home after it managed to imposed the pace and style most suitable for what they needed. Real Madrid got ahead first, but then, like last Saturday's game, it failed to keep good care of this lead, as it was already losing by 1-2 by halftime. Roberto Carlos scored the equaliser right after the break, which was like a boost to the white hope. The fight only died out in the extra time when Galletti scored. Two finals lost in three years, the Spanish Cups remains a most significant challenge for Real Madrid, which will certainly keep on trying. Not this year, though. Congratulations to Zaragoza.

THE MATCH:
2 - REAL MADRID: César; Salgado, Helguera, Raúl Bravo, Roberto Carlos; Beckham, Guti; Figo, Zidane, Solari (Portillo 82´); and Raúl.
3 - REAL ZARAGOZA: Láinez; Cuartero, Álvaro, Milito, Toledo; Cani, Ponzio (Generelo 69´), Movilla, Savio (Juanele 96´); Dani (Galletti 60´) and Villa.
GOALS:
1-0, min.24: Beckham, free kick.
1-1, min.29: Savio aims a centre shot at the far post and Dani kicks into the net.
1-2, min.44: Villa, penalty committed on himself.
2-2, min.47: Roberto Carlos, free kick.
2-3, min.111: Galletti from thirty metres off.
REFEREE: Carmona Méndez (Extremadura Referees Association). Salgado, Milito, Álvaro, Guti, Figo, Villa, Galletti, Víctor Muñoz, Solari and Raúl Bravo were cautioned. Cani and Guti got two yellow cards each.
OTHER FACTS: 101th Spanish Cup Final, Montjuïc Lluis Companys Stadium. 54,000 spectators. His Majesty King Juan Carlos was present at the royal box. A one minute's silence was observed in memory of the victims of March 11th.

#84 (Damn..)

A Year ago, on a cold dark night..
Someone was killed infront of 149..
There were few at the scene
But they all agreed
That the one who got killed..
Looked a lot like me

My brother said, "Mon, what is your alibi?
If you didn't love her,
Then why'd you have to die?"
Well, I said not a word
Though she meant my life.
because she's already in the arms
of my good friend.. yeah.. that's nice..

now, it's too late..
Eternity ain't near..
I keep my head up..
And shed not a tear

Sometimes at night
When the cold winds blow
i stand under the stars..
and i look at my bones..

How i feel? Nobody knows, nobody sees, nobody knows but me...

1-0: The White's Advance to the Quarter finals!

Real Madrid is already into the Champions League quarterfinals. They're win against Bayern Munich has confirmed Real's superiority. The command of the game was in Querioz' boys for more than three quarters of the encounter. Mejia and Solari did a very efficient job replacing Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo. Queiroz' tactics were very wise in deploying such a sound squad determined to win this round right from kickoff. We watched some big name football today at Bernabéu. The white crowed enjoyed a very exciting match-up and played a definitive role with all its support to the home side. Zinedine Zidane's target eight minutes from halftime proved a good advantage despite all the dangerous charges by the German side, which never gave up on the magician fight. The last four minutes of play were just crazy. Anxiety took over both the pitch and the stands. Guti was struck on the face after Kuffour pushed the white captain, but the home side finally ran out as an distinguished winner, like champions do.

THE MATCH:
1 – REAL MADRID: Casillas; Michel Salgado, Mejia, Helguera, Raul Bravo; Beckham, Guti (Borja, 92'); Figo, Zidane, Solari (Cambiasso, 90'); and Raul.
0 – BAYERN MÚNICH: Kahn; Sagnol (Salihamidzic, 66'), Kuffour, Kovac, Lizarazu; Hargreaves (Schweinsteiger, 46'), Ballack, Demichelis, Ze Roberto; Pizarro (Santa Cruz, 68') and Makaay.
GOALS:
1-0, min 32: Zidane in following an fantastic interplay between Raul and Salgado.
REFEREE: Urs Meier (Switzerland). Yellow cards to Ze Roberto (m.14), Michel Salgado (m.15) and Lizarazu (m.69).
OTHER FACTS: Champions League Last Sixteen round, second leg, Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, 80,000 spectators, 3,000 of which were German supporters. The match was attended by His Majesty King Juan Carlos.

0-1: A Tragedy in Turin..

RC Deportivo La Coruna inflicted a painful revenge for Juventus FC knocking them out of last season's UEFA Champions League by defeating the 2003 runners-up in both legs of their first knockout round encounter to advance to the quarter-finals. Deportivo's first-ever success in Turin came courtesy of Walter Pandiani's first-half goal and a magnificently competitive display of man-marking and tight defending in the home of catenaccio.

Del Piero injured
Already hampered by the absence of six potentially first-choice players through injury or suspension, it took only six minutes for Del Piero to limp off with an injury to his right leg. Until that point it had been curious to watch Marcello Lippi's drastically adjusted formation with Nicola Legrottaglie playing as the man marker on Juan Carlos Valer?n in front of a three-man defence.

The Match:
0 - JUVENTUS: Buffon; Thuram, Ferrara, Montero, Legrottaglie (Pessotto, 46'); Camoranesi (Chiumento, 70'), Tacchinardi, Appiah; Nedved; Del Piero (Miccoli, 6'), Di Viao.
1 - Deportivo: Molina; Scaloni, Andrade, Naybet, Capdevila; Mauro Silva, Sergio; Victor, Valeron (Duscher, 77') , Luque (Fran, 62'); Pandiani (Tristan, 82').
The Goals:
0-1 min 12: The Uruguayan striker Pandiani gets in behind his compatriot Montero before slotting coolly past Gianluigi Buffon with his left foot. That all came from a harmless-looking long ball from Jose Molina.
Calls: Yellow cards on Tacchinardi, Ferrara and Montero for Juventus and Mauro silva and Victor for Deportivo.
Other Facts: Juventus playing in their traditional black-and-white stripes. Deportivo are wearing a red away kit with white trim.

The Next two Games without Roberto Carlos

UEFA Appeals Body confirmed its decision to impose a two-match ban on Roberto Carlos, who now is certain to miss, at least, next Wednesday's Champions League encounter against Bayern Munich. Roberto Carlos appeared before the Appeals Body this morning. The Real Madrid delegation was led by Emilio Butragueno and both of them have been directly informed about the judgement earlier this afternoon. The UEFA disciplinary commission made this decision earlier this afternoon in Nyon (Switzerland) after hearing Roberto Carlos' statements and discussing the issue for about 50 minutes.

Which Dysfunctional Care Bear Are You?

---------------------

Crazy Crazy Crazy.. Did i already say Crazy?!

I've heard a lot of crazy ass shit in my life.. but this so far is the craziest thing that i've ever heard. This Saint, Jose Maria Escriva Balaguer founded this organization called the "Opus Dei". It is said that it's goal is "to spread throughout society a profound awareness of the universal call to holiness and apostolate through one's professional work carried out with freedom and personal responsibility." The intentions may be noble and all that shit but there are some things here, some rules that only someone brainwashed would consider right. Here are some of it...

Alienation From Families
*Communication to family about involvement with Opus Dei is limited and even discouraged.

*Opus Dei teaches individuals (despite their ages) that it is acceptable and even advantageous to leave parents and loved ones out of the decision-making process because "they will not understand." Most parents learn of their child's lifetime commitment to Opus Dei months and even years later. Many times, parents do not realize their children have joined because the numeraries are told to remain in university residences and do not move into centers designated exclusively for numeraries, so as not to raise any suspicions. Gradually, the bond of trust between child and parent is broken.

*Display of pictures of loved ones is discouraged, not by rule, but by subtle example. <---(Tsk tsk tsk.. This shit is Whacked!)

Undue Pressure to Join
*Selected individuals are relentlessly pursued to consider a vocation or calling to Opus Dei.

*Opus Dei members carefully stage "vocational crises" at vulnerable moments in recruits' lives. The recruits are often told that God calls people at certain times in their lives, and if they say "no" they will never receive God's grace in their lives because they are "on the wrong track."

*Opus Dei members often tell their "friends" that failure to follow a calling to Opus Dei will lead not only to a life of misery and discontent, but possibly to eternal damnation. <--- Whhaaaat?! eternal Damnation because i didn't join your Organization?! BULLSHIT!

Corporal Mortification of Opus Dei
This shit is so whaked! Believe Me!!

Corporal mortification is regularly practiced in Opus Dei. It is perhaps one of the most startling aspects of Opus Dei life for people outside the group. Many of the practices of corporal mortification were at one time more regularly practiced within the Church; however, due to modern psychology and thinking, the practices which inflict pain are sometimes considered to be counterproductive to one's spiritual development, as they can easily lead to pride and an unhealthy attitude toward one's body.

Listed below are the ways Opus Dei numeraries practice corporal mortification:

*Cilice: a spiked chain worn around the upper thigh for two hours each day, except for Church feast days, Sundays, and certain times of the year. This is perhaps the most shocking of the corporal mortifications, and generally Opus Dei members are extremely hesitant to admit that they use them. It is a painful mortification which leaves small prick holes in the flesh, and makes the Opus Dei members tentative about wearing swim suits wherever non-Opus Dei members may be.

*Discipline : a cord-like whip which resembles macrame, used on the buttocks or back once a week. Opus Dei members must ask permission to use it more often, which many do. The story is often told in Opus Dei that the Founder was so zealous in using the discipline, he splattered the bathroom walls with streaks of blood.

*Cold Showers : Most numeraries take cold showers every day and offer it up for the intentions of the current Prelate.
Meals : Numeraries generally practice one small corporal mortification at every meal, such as drinking coffee without milk or sugar, not buttering one's toast, skipping dessert, not taking seconds, etc. For the most part, eating between meals is not practiced. Opus Dei members fast on the Church's prescribed days for fasting, but otherwise must ask for permission to fast on their own.

*The Heroic Minute : Numeraries are encouraged to jump out of bed and kiss the floor as soon as the door is knocked in the morning. As they kiss, they say "Serviam," Latin for "I will serve." <--- I don't get it..

*Silences : Each night after making an examination of conscience, numeraries do not speak to one another until after Holy Mass the following morning. (They do not say "Good morning" to anyone as they are getting ready.) In the afternoons, they try to avoid speaking until dinnertime. On Sundays, numeraries generally do not listen to music, especially in the afternoons. <--- How do they live man!..

Some forms of corporal mortification differ according to your gender, as the following table shows:

*Female Numeraries:
*Sleep on boards laid on top of the mattress.
*Sleep without a pillow once a week.
*May not smoke or enter a bar.
*The Founder believed that women had passions that required more discipline to tame.

Male Numeraries:
*Sleep on the floor once a week.
*Sleep without a pillow once a week.
*Allowed to smoke and go to bars with recruits, for the purpose of drawing them closer to Opus Dei.
<--- you go to a bar to bring your recruits closer to you, other than that, it's wrong.. What the?!..

this are just some of the things they do for more information go to www.ODAN.org

To all my homies, relative and whoever who are into this: I ain't go nuthin' against y'all.. i got nuthin but love for all y'all.. it's just that this shit is crazy dawg.. how can you take this shit?!

"Ronaldo stays in Madrid till 2008!!"

Real Madrid C.F. announces that its player Ronaldo Luiz Nazario de Lima has extended the contract binding him to the Club until June 30th, 2008. Although the Club was entitled to a one-year renewal of the previous contract, which was to terminate in 2006, both parties have eventually agreed to extend it until June 30th, 2008.

"Zinedine Zidane Extends Real Madrid Contract Till 2007"

Real Madrid's sports director Jorge Valdano voices out his delight at Zinedine Zidane's renewal to 2007. Zidane was to end his contract in 2005 and the contract provided for the Club's one-sided right to extended for one extra year, but they deemed it proper to secure the stability of the team with such a talented player. I guess this is why they want him to stay for two more campaigns. The renewals of Raul, Michel Salgado, Guti and now Zidane are the best ways to settle the future in Real Madrid which is right now the most important thing.

-We'll at least we can still enjoy Zidane's play till 2007.-

Asking..

So now I'm headed to the chapel and I'm fix my shit,
It's goin' down yeah, but what do ya know?
Who woulda knew that would make situations worse
Am I cursed, nothing I've tried seems to work
And I drop to my knees and I pray, yes I pray
And I wonder if I'll ever see a better day
I've seen much in my time and I think it was too much for my eyes
The wickedness pulling me closer to failure everytime I think I'm rising, yeah
But you live and you learn and try to make better, gotta get control
Then follow the Lord and who knows where you'll go, for sure
I can see how I've been sinnin'
I'm asking the Lord for a little bit of forgiving, 'giving

Martin Luther King Jr.

If Martin were alive today, he would probably be talking about freedom. With all the things that are going on the world, he would probably be giving a speech right now somewhere in the World about how the Afghans have so little freedom, and how we have so much. That's sad to think about, but it is true.

There are some people in the world who think that they can run the world by themselves. They think they have so
much power that they can control everyone around them. The Taliban in Afghanistan are doing just that.

In the Philippines, you are granted freedom from the second your foot touches our land. Eventhough our Government is not that great like America and Our Officials are as power hungry as hungry pigs, we still have the humility to keep our shit to ourselves and not try to run the world. And also we do help and support the battle against terror, Eventhough we do creat terror in our Economy. It is not that way in any other country in the world. That is what's so great about The Philippines.

"I'm Free, Thank God i'm Free...!"
-Martin Luther King Jr."

Best of What's Around...

Hey my friend
It seems your eyes are troubled
Care to share your times with me
Would you say you're feeling low and so
A good idea would be to get it off your mind

See, you and me
Have a better time than most can dream
Have it better than the best
And so can pull on through
Whatever tears at us
Whatever holds us down
And if nothing can be done
We'll make the best of what's around

Turns out not where but who you're with
That really matters
And hurts not much when you're around

If you hold on tight
To what you think is your thing
You may find you're missing all the rest
She run up into the light surprised
Her arms are open
Her mind's eye is

Seeing things from a
Clearer side than most can dream
On a better road I feel
So you could say she's safe
Whatever tears at her
Whatever holds her down
And if nothing can be done
She'll make the best of what's around

Turns out not where but what you think
That really matters
And hurts not much when you're around

Isn't it strange
How we move our lives for another day
Like skipping a beat
What if a great wave should
wash us all away
Just thinking out loud
Don't mean to dwell on this dying thing
But looking at blood
It's alive right now
Deep and sweet within
Pouring through our veins
Intoxicate moving wine to tears
Drinking it deep
Then an evening spent dancing
It's you and me
This love will open our world
From the dark side we can see a glow of something bright
There's much more than we see here
Don't burn the day away

Is this not enough
This blessed sip of life
Is it not enough
Staring down at the ground
Oh then complain and pray
more from above
Greedy little pig
Stop just watch your world trickle away
Oh it's your problem now
It'll all be dead and gone in
a few short years
Just love will open our eyes
Just love will put the hope in our minds
Much more than we could ever know
Don't burn the day.. away..

Dreaming..

This is where i want to go. Inagurated in St. Antonio de Portmany, location of Ibiza, Spain, a Cafe was emplaced on the seashore and was designed and decorated by Lluis Guell, a well-known Catalonian architect.

The cafe became a well-known reference point to all sorts of people specially those who are involved in culture, literature, and the arts in general, bohemians and intellectuals. The motive for such fame is the special cult that is rendered to the sunset, which is one the most beautiful and incredible sunsets that one can view from the cafe. This ritual is joined by a different type of music (jazz, classic, blues, etc...), which one is normally not used to hearing thought the Ibiza nightlife. This array of music and the unique sunset gave fame and notoriety to this magical place. This is Cafe Del Mar..
