2-1:The Whites Beat R.C.D. Espanyol

It was a matter of time. After 51 minutes of play Real finally managed to break through the sound defensive wall deployed by Clemente. Despite their great endurance during the first half, Espanyol could do nothing about the wonderful actions of the white midfielders, probably the ones with the best technique in the world. Then there was Ronaldo’s eye for the goal. An eye that worked today again one year after his debut with those decisive targets he scored that time too. The Brazilian forward was the only one that finally converted all the chances his team had on their feet. Figo missed a penalty kick and his teammates wasted more than ten clear opportunities to score. The score could have become a stuffing.
Although there was no goals scored in the first half, Madrid did a lot of good football. Everything worked just fine for them thanks to their overwhelming control of the ball. The whites rolled it very wisely and put it inches from the opposing net. But it never got to touch it on any of the ten clear chances: a free kick by Beckham brushed the post; two powerful shots by Roberto Carlo and Figo were saved by Lemmens; Zidane’s voley from the opposite end of the field forced the goalie to work hard. It would have been an awesome goal.

THE MATCH:
2 - REAL MADRID: Casillas; Salgado, Pavon, Helguera, Roberto Carlos; Beckham (Cambiasso, 87), Guti, Figo, Zidane (Solari, min. 87); Raul and Ronaldo (Portillo, min. 87).
1 - ESPANYOL: Lemmens; Tayfun (Velamazan, min. 68), Jarque, Domoraud, Carlos García, David Garcia; Bastia (Oscar, min. 78), Morales (Alex, min. 70), Wome, Maxi; Raul Molina.
REFEREE: Miguel Perez Lasa, Basque Referee Association. Yellow cards to Carlos Garcia, Raul, Zidane, Salgado and Javier Clemente, Espanyol coach. Wome was sent off.
GOALS:
1-0: Min. 51: Great pass from Salgado to Raul, who turns around in the area and sends it to Ronaldo.
2-0: Min. 82: Ronaldo, header, from Beckham’s pass
2-1: : Min. 92: Alex hit the net by a few inches.
OTHER FACTS: Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, almost full. Liga Matchday 6. Mild weather and field of play in excellent conditions.

Boracay's Sunset Punta Fuego's Sunset

Nine Planets Surround the Sun,
Only One where you'll see Fuego's Bay..
Only one does the sun embrace..
Here Only You'll See Boracay's Sunset..
Yet we take this World for granted..
So let us sleep outside tonight
Lay down in the mother's arms
For here we can rest safely

One Sweet World, Around this star is spinning..
One Sweet World, In her breath I'm swimming
And here we will rest in peace...

1-3:The White's beat Porto!

The warning at Mestalla took effect at Das Antas. Real have taken a big step towards the Champions League last-sixteen round following today’s 1-3 win against Porto. Helguera, Solari and Zidane’s targets were the reward to the Whites’ practical and effective play. Local player Costinha opened the score giving rise to some fear in the 1300 white fans that had traveled to Portugal. But there is more value to this win considering the fact that Beckham did not appear and Raúl only came on when the game was already solved. The three points earned tonight add up to the other three from Marseille, which all together puts the Whites at the top of the Group F.

Porto gave an early warning with Pedro Mendes’ long-range shot, though the local goal came later on in the sixth minute. Casillas saved a shot by Derlei and Costinha only had to chip the ball into the net. The goal knocked Real out and left them uncapable of stopping the home side’s drive. Mourinho’s plane was working fine. The pressure and the quick movement of the ball prevented Guti and Helguera from linking to the foward line.

Real was going through their worst moments. They did not manage to put one dangerous action together and the home side did not allow them into their ground. But just then Figo came up with some of his best play this season. Valente could do nothing to stop his country fellow and then we started to see more danger on Baía’s goal. Santiago Solari kicked a centre shot that was missed by Ronaldo, though not by Helguera who headed the ball taking the goalie by surprise (27’).

THE MATCH:
1 – PORTO: Baia; Pedro Emanuel (Jankauskas 69´), Ricardo Carvalho, Costinha, Nuno Valente, Deco, Derlei, Maniche, Paulo Ferreira, Pedro Mendes (Bosingwa 45´) and Ricardo Fernández (McCarthy 45´).
3 – REAL MADRID: Casillas; Míchel Salgado, Roberto Carlos, Pavon, Raul Bravo; Helguera, Guti, Solari (Cambiasso, +91'), Figo, Zidane and Ronaldo (Raul 82´).
GOALS:
1-0, min.6: Costinha cuts off a save by Casillas.
1-1, min.27: Solari kicks a centre shot from the left and Helguera beats Baía with a header.
1-2, min.36: Zidane begins a counterattack, Ronaldo carries on with it, Roberto Carlos passes it to Solari who dribbles past Baía and beats him.
1-3, min.66: Zidane stages a rehearsed move from Figo’s kick.
REFEREE: Pierluigi Collina (Italy). He cautioned Pavón (6´), Helguera (18´), Deco (70´)
OTHER FACTS: Champions League Matchday 2, Group F. Das Antas Stadium. 3/4attendance (37.506 people). Carlos Queiroz ruled out Jurado, Riki and Borja. Florentino Pérez watched the game at the royal box. About 1.500 Spanish followers were present at the stands.

Real Madrid C.F. and F.C. Porto

Real Madrid go to Portugal looking to build on their 4-2 victory over Olimpique Marseille on Matchday 1. However the 2002 Champions League winners were brought down to earth on Saturday, falling to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Valencia in the Primera Divisi?n. Coach Carlos Queiroz lost the services of England captain David Beckham in that match, while defender Rubén Gonz?lez is also ruled out with a dislocated shoulder. Leading scorer in Champions League history, Ra?l Gonz?lez, has recovered from a hip injury enough to make the bench however. Real will hope to improve on their dismal recent record away from home in Europe, a run which has seen them win only once in their last seven European trips.
Porto coach José Morinho has been dealt a blow with the loss of captain Jorge Costa, who misses the game with a knee injury. Russian playmaker Dmitri Alenichev is also absent through injury. Last season's UEFA Cup winners make two changes from the side which beat Vit?ria Guimar?es 2-1 on Saturday, with Pedro Emanuel and Maniche replacing Costa and Edgaras Jankauskas, who drops to the bench. Porto have a great recent record at home in European competition having won six of their last seven games at Antas.
Welcome to the Antas Stadium for this evening’s UEFA Champions League Group F encounter between FC Porto and Real Madrid CF. This Iberian derby will be the tenth meeting between the two sides, all of which have been in the European Champion Clubs’ Cup and the Champions League. The Spanish champions have come out on top, winning eight compared to Porto’s two wins in those encounters. Real Madrid also won on their last visit to Antas, a 2-1 victory in 2001-02.

2-0:Real's First La Liga Loss

Real Madrid wasted the opportunity to lead the standings after their visit to Valencia. The Whites were defeated by the two targets that Valencia hit during this beautiful and sporting game. The locals had a great warming atmosphere in their favour together with an early 1-0 score thanks to Mista’s goal. The visitors did not had many gaps to break through the organised local defence. Besides, Oliveira (scorer of the second target) came up with some quick counterattacks that jeopardized Casillas’ goal. It is the first Liga loss this year for Real. Now it is time to focus on the next visit to Porto.

Queiroz made some changes to his tactics after the break. Figo moved over to the left flank and Beckham to the right one. Cambiasso and Zidane took care of the midfield. Nine minutes later, the coach put more emphasis on the attack by sending out Portillo. These changes meant a better control of the ball but without many scoring opportunities. Valencia did not change its tactics though, they prefered to take advantage of any slip and leave it to the speed of their forwards.

The whole thing went worse as the game went on. Madrid still did not find any gap and Valencia was coming up with more and more dangerous actions. One of them led to the second local goal. Valencia consolidated the win without giving up on their fight. Nobody could possibly felt disappointed after tonight’s show on the field. It was the thrill of football on stage. By the way, the smoke in the air came from the burning of nearby rice fields.

THE MATCH:
2 - VALENCIA: Canizares; Curro Torres, Navarro, Marchena, Carboni; Albelda (Sissoko, min. 90), Baraja, Vicente, Jorge Lopez; Aimar (Oliveira, min. 29) and Rufete (Mista, min. 69).
0 - REAL MADRID: Casillas; Salgado, Pavon, Ruben Bravo, Roberto Carlos; Cambiasso (Solari, min. 72), Beckham, Figo, Zidane; Guti (Portillo, min. 54) and Ronaldo.
REFEREE: Moreno Delgado, Catalonia Referees Association. Yellow cards to Vicente, Jorge Pérez and Salgado.
GOALS:
Min. 5: Mista beats Casillas with a close-range shot.
Min. 70: Oliveira, following several saves. OTHER FACTS: Mestalla Stadium, full. Liga Matchday 5.

3-1:“Pavons” beat at tango rhythm

A top level encounter on a superb occasion. It was a tribute to Alfredo di Stéfano, the best player that has ever worn the shirt of the best team in football history. And the Trophy at stake named after the best president of this sport. Unbeatable fixture. Then two top-class rivals on the field: historic Real against River Plate, also known as “the American Real”. To round it all up the best player of the game happened to be an Argentinean one: Solari. He paved the way to the win with a great goal and ended up leading his team (with nine reserves tonight). The host kept the title. Future is looking great for this host.

Madrid changed its lineup, but not its attitude. The Whites kept up their ambitions and got hold of the ball right from kickoff and retained it all the way through. It was not a truly overwhelming control becaus River did a good defence and make some dangerous moves near César’s goal. The “golden triangle” Beckham-Zidane-Guti worked pretty well on this occasions as they took over the whole midfield. The attacks were made on the flanks with Núñez and Solari in a very motivated mood. The Argentinean player, who had played in River during his early years, tried really hard to beat his former team’s goal. His best chance was a shot that hit the bar in the 15th minute. Then he tried again with another shot that went off-target.

THE MATCH:
REAL MADRID: César; Salgado (Pavón, min. 45), Rubén, Helguera (Cambiasso, min. 75), Roberto Carlos (Raúl Bravo, min. 45); Beckham (Borja, min. 37), Zidane (Jurado, min. 45), Núñez (Olalla, min. 80), Solari; Guti (Jordi, min. 75) and Portillo (Riki, min. 80).
RIVER PLATE: Contanzo; Virviescas (Vivas, min. 63), Crosa, Amelli, Tuzzio; Mascherano (Barrado, min. 83), Pereyra, Coudet (González, min. 45), Ludueña (Husain, min. 59); Domínguez (Montenegro, min. 45) and Cavenaghi (López, min. 73).
REFEREE: Iturralde González (Basque Referee Association).
GOALS:
1-0: Min. 54: Great goal by Solari, who dribbles past two defenders in the area and sends the ball into the net.
2-0: Min. 57: Portillo, header, from a free kick by Jurado.
3-0: Min. 70: Portillo again, following Raúl Bravo’s centre shot
3-1: Min. 79: González beats César with a high shot.
OTHER FACTS: XXV Santiago Bernabéu Trophy. Santiago Bernabéu was honoured before the game to conmemorate the 50th anniversary of his arrival at Real Madrid. The players lifted a banner with a picture of the former President. The grandaughters of the current Real Madrid Honorary President gave him a plaque with all the titles he achieved as player.

#62

in the midst of it all,
im still standing..
from the hurricane of sadness,
to the pain that was never relieved,
Im still up and going..
In the midst of all this,
i was never conquered by defeat..
in the midst of it all,
i still have my head up,
from the rage if my confusion,
to the unbalance thoughts of my desire.
what the friends say is good is right.
I say..
When you were again
And you were my friend
Before the lie..
In the midst of all this..
I kept your name up high..

In the midst off all this..
I'm still here..
Wating for angels to rain upon me..
Always..

3-1:The White Plays Like Champions Again

The game was not as exciting as a Champions league final, but the Whites still showed their champion ship form.Ronaldo and Beckham’s goals (the former following a corner kick and the latter from a free kick) have made clear how important free kicks have become ever since the Englishman joined Real. This win have put the Whites up to the second place just below Deportivo. The worst news is Ra?l’s injury on his hip. Guti had to come on for the injured forward before halftime. Thirteen minutes from time, Edgar’s goal spiced up a game that had always been under the Whites’ control, but Guti came in to finish off a nice counterattack that put the end to the encounter.

Guti Stepping up

The Second Captain Guti Stepped up when Raul aquired his injury. He hasn't played as a starter in along time, but with the way he played last night, No doubt that he really deserved to be the second captain for the whites. He finished the game with a goal from Luis Figo on the 85th min.

The Game:
0 - MALAGA: Arnau; Valcarce, Litos (Diego Alonso 74´), Fernando Sanz, Josemi; Miguel Angel, Leko (Edgar 57´) Gerardo (Manu 43´), Duda, Romero and Salva.
3 - REAL MADRID: Casillas; Michel Salgado, Roberto Carlos, RaUl Bravo, Pavon; Cambiasso, Beckham, Figo (Nunez 91´), Zidane (Solari 73´); Raul (Guti 43´) y Ronaldo.
GOALS:
0-1, min.12: Zidane Catches a Corner Kick from Beckham and passed it to Ronaldo with a nice tap in.
0-2, min.72: Beckham with a Free Kick.
1-2, min.77: Edgar beats Casillas with a Scissors.
1-3, min.85: Guti Catches a pass from Luis Figo and beats Arnau.
Referees: Rodr?guez Santiago (colegio castellano-leones). Amoneste a Leko (5´), Roberto Carlos (41´), Salva (55´) y Solari (84´)

"True Reflections"

when you look into a mirror
do you like what's looking at you
now that you've seen your true reflections
what on earth are you gonna do

find some inspiration
it's down deep inside of you
amend your situation
your whole life is ahead of you

remember the time you hung out with the boys now
remember the things you used to say
i thought by now you'd be the president
but after all that was yesterday
you've had time to go out in the world now
but you chose to run away
people ask you what your doin' now
you don't even know what to say

you think life is like a movie
where it all works out in the end
i think life is like a dessert
where does it go where does it begin
when you look into a mirror
do you like what's looking at you
now that you've seen your true reflections
what on earth are you gonna do

find some inspiration
it's down deep inside of you

"Heaven ain't Hard to Find"
"All you got to do is look.."

Simply because you nervous, let me start off with my conversation
Hoping my information, eleviates the hesitiation
I can see it clearly now
catch you smiling through your frown
I'm askin' Baby Boo are you down ?
Although I know you've heard about my reputation
across the nation
"Mr. I get around"
My temptaion got me dripping wet
perspiration
I'm activated by the moves your making
Baby why you faking? strip naked get the love making
See its all in your mind, so every time I sip a glass of wine
I fantasize till that ass is mine
Never gettin' but wanting, never touching but wishing
A straight thug on a mission until I get what I'm missing
Stop with the beeper, baby Listen,
I know you're grown, but pay attention
Let me hypnotize with my tounge kissen'
This is a message to bomb bodies and all dimes..
Heaven ain't hard to Find..

Infact you can have it just have faith
Just like a little kid, still believing in magic
It takes a lot of sacrifice
with all the lonely nights on tour
I need somebody I can trust in my life
Let me apply the brakes
baby you're moving to fast
My conversations are getting deeper, but first let me ask
Are you afraid of a thug?
and have you ever made love
with candles and bubbles sipping in your tub
Touch me and let me activate your bloodpressure
This Thug Passion
help the average man love better
Picture me waiting and glistening beneath the moonlight mist
Take a shot of that alazhay
come give me a kiss
And maybe we can be better friends
perhaps we'll be closer
I'll be the thug in your life
baby and you'll be my soulja
And I know it takes some time
And you got a lot of questions on your mind
But relax, in due time
Heaven Ain't Hard to Find..

You think we all dogs, thats why you cautious when I approached you
Been talking since you arrived, but not a word is spoken
Through my eye contact, I wink and you respond back
Look at me
whats all that? Huh
its like the closer you get, Baby the quicker I'm speaking
I got a flight out Chicago, lets kick it this weekend
I'm sipping Heneesee and coke
tho' addicted to weed smoke
I'm fiendin' for your body even mo'
Oh god help me identify me truest thoughts
your hidden motives full of passion who would of thought
Come hollar at me baby, love me for my thug nature
Far from a playa hater, label me a money maker
Straight heart breaker
Baby we can be friends
I can soup you in a Benz

I'll let you floss it for your friends
Once we begin
until the end, it gets better with time
I'm makin' love to your mind baby

4-2:What a Way to Open the Champions League!

What more can i say? this game proves that the Whites ain't just for show. As you can see from the score, only one team was playing quality football on the pitch. In the first half, Olympique Marselle may have scored the opening goal but after that, the Whites showed that they could not be outplayed by Marselle. Thanks to Ronaldo who scored 2 goals, Roberto Carlos who scored one along with Luis Figo which was a penalty, the Whites have their first win of their Champions League Season. Their next game will be against Porto on October 1 at Das Antas.

"No Mercy!!"
The feeling of superiority had been clear during the first half, so the second helped the audience enjoy their team’s play. The ball was played beautifully by the white feet. The rival could do not much to cut off all sorts of moves, passes and actions. The third of the night arrived in the middle of this show. Zidane dribbled past all the opponents in his way and reached for Ronaldo. ‘9’ shot Zizou’s pass to consolidate this year’s first Champions League win (55’). If there was any doubt left about this win, Figo took care of converting a penalty kick into the fourth of the night (59’).Olympique had no choice but let the white show go on. Vachousek and N’Diaye came on, though they brought no change to their team’s play. Guti’s appearance made Real’s actions faster. Bernabeu was staging one of its best games recently. Van Buyten cut the lead down in the late part of the game (83’) when there was no much time left for any reaction. Real got the first three points this Champions League season.

THE MATCH:
4 - REAL MADRID: Casillas; Salgado, Roberto Carlos, Raul Bravo, Pavon; Cambiasso (Guti 66´), Beckham, Figo, Zidane (Solari 85´); Raul and Ronaldo (Portillo 85´).

2 - OLYMPIQUE MARSELLA: Runje; Ecker, Meite, Van Buyten, Beye; Hemdani (Vachousek 60´), Celestini, Marlet (Johansen 40´), Meriem; Drogba (N´Diaye 64´) and Mido.

1-1, min. 29: Spotless centre by Beckham which, Roberto Carlos sends into the net at the first shot.

She moved like silence swathed in light,
Like mist in moonshine clear;
A music that enamoured sight
Yet did elude the ear.
A rapture and a spirit clad
In motion soft as sleep;
The epitome of all things glad,
The sum of all that weep.

Her form was like a poet's mind,
By all sensations sought.
She seemed the substance of the wind,
One shape of lyric thought;
A being 'mid terrestrial things
Transcendently forlorn;
Through time bound far on gleaming wings
For some diviner born.

The rhythms of the swooning heart
Swayed to her sweet control;
Life in her keeping all was art,
And all of body soul.
Faint-shimmering in the air
She seemed to ebb and flow
Like memories perilously fair,
And pale from long ago.

She stooped to grief's remembered tears,
Yearned to undawned delight.
beauty, passionate from the years..
body, wise and white
She vanished like an evening cloud,
A sunset's radiant gleam.
She vanished. Life awhile endowed
The darkness with a dream..

7-2: The White's Crush Valladolid

Raul Scored 3,Ronaldo 2, Zidane and Figo with a penalty. The withes put their all offensive drive to really beat the living hell out of Valladolid. The Whites produced all their weapons in a memorable game, one of their best performances in the past few years. The home side’s play, with some of Beckham’s most amazing touches, crushed the tactical approach of the visiting side, who could only bow to its rival’s display. The only bad piece of news was Cambiasso’s injury, which put him out of the game in the second half. Following this show, Real will have to prepare for its Champions League debut next Tuesday with Olympique Marseille.

The return of Raul

It only took Ronaldo 20 minutes to score his first goal with number ‘9’ on his back. The Brazilian managed to beat the visiting goalie on the second chance he had. The performance of Raul at the beginning of the championship had been questioned, but, last Wednesday with the national team, number ‘7’ already proved he is in perfect shape. Tonight the first thing he did was to convert a wonderful centre shot from Figo (31’). But his best move was to come a few minutes later when Roberto Carlos spotted him unmarked and the forward controlled the ball with his chest to slot the ball into the net. He did so with some mathematical precision (33’) just as the goalie was out to tackle him. Real had solved the encounter in just thirty minutes with some of its best play ever.
Right after the break, he audience had the chance to see one of the best goals of the season when Beckham sent a remote-controlled missile to Zidane. The Frenchman did not let the ball touch down and came up with a volley that Bizarri could not possibly clear (53’). The hankies emerged all over the stands to greet such a display of good football.

THE MATCH:
7 - REAL MADRID: Casillas; Salgado, Pavon, Ruben Bravo, Roberto Carlos; Cambiasso (Borja 71´), Beckham, Figo (Nunez 63´), Zidane (Guti 63´); Raul and Ronaldo.
2 - VALLADOLID: Bizzarri; Torres Gomez, Caminero, Julio Cesar, Marcos; Jesus, Ricchetti, Zapata (Oscar 56´), F. Sales, Sousa (Chema 40´); Jonathan (Losada 33´).
GOALS:
1-0, min.20: Ronaldo, with Julio Cesar’s help, beats Bizzarri from the edge of the area.
2-0, min.31: Centre shot by Luis Figo; Raul finishes it off with his ankle.
3-0, min.33: Roberto Carlos spots Raul umarked. The forward beats Bizzarri over his head.

our days are running thin
our hops will start to fall
i can feel the world collapse around me from within
and the letters keep coming by to let us know when time will die
and please God will you forgive us and give us one more try
if you will then we'll go as fast as we go far
maybe well be forgotten when the world is torn apart
i've been up all night long
counting days that all went wrong
i opened my bedroom window
i wish this pain was gone
there are no useful drugs to escape from feeling numb
i remember an amazing birthday
i remember when i was young
if you will then we'll go as fast as we go far
maybe we'll be forgotten when the world is torn apart
'cause the sun won't be so blinding
and the rains will finally come
the axis will slowly pile up just to prove we're finally done
if you will then we'll go as fast as we go far
maybe we'll be forgotten when the world is torn apart
'cause the sun won't be so blinding
and the rains will finally come
and the axis will slowly pile up just to prove we're finally done

I come to you,
Let my heart be changed, renewed
Flowing from the grace
That i found in You..
Now i've come to know,
The weaknesses I see in Me,
Will be stripped away..
By the Power of your Love..

Hold Me close,
Let you Love surround Me,
Bring Me near,
Draw me to your side,
And as i wait,
I'll rise up like an Eagle,
And I will soar with you,
Your spirit leads me on,
by the power of your love..

Please unveil my eyes,
Let me see you face to face,
The knowledge of your love,
as you live in me.
You renewed my mind,
As your will unfolds in my life,
In living everyday,
In the power of your love..

Live and Dreaming..#61
this is one of my lounge versions...

I remember thinking..
How your path crossed my way..
but i still can't imagine..
how i fell inlove with you that day..
and i know..
your touch is hard to remember..
but like that touch i know no other..
and i know...
your my heaviest weight..
would you like to dance around the world with me?!
and for sure..
you lips burn wild..
like a kiss from a child..
whatever happens..
don't worry..
i'll back you up..

to be continued and edited..

Nine planets round the sun
Only one does the sun embrace
Upon this watered one
So much to we take for granted

So let us sleep outside tonight
Lay down in the mother's arms
For here we can rest safely

If green should slip to grey
Would our hearts still bloody beat
If the mountains crumble away
And the river dry
Would it stop the stepping feet

Take all that we can get
When it's done
Nobody left to bury
Nobody left to dig the holes
And here we will rest safely

One Sweet World...
Around this star is spinning
One Sweet World..
In her breath I'm swimming
And here we will rest in peace.

"Live and Dreaming.. Again?! #60

I've been here it's so familiar,
Close the book I know the end
Want so much a different story,
Want so much a different way,
Just so much well.. its just so much
And I'm up too close and I just can't see
Tryin' to think before I answer
And I'm trying' to walk before I run

What's this space between us?!
I can see you and you can see me..
there's no walls there ain't no chains.
but why can't we dance together
like we used to!?

1-1:White's Draw because of Player Drought

The 1-1 draw does not seem much of a valuable reward from Real Madrid’s visit to Villarreal. Nuñez scored the white goal in a game that was also white for about three quarters of the playing time. Fortune did not stand by Queiroz’ boys and as two of their shots only hit the woodwork before the opposing goal was beaten for the first and only time. Salgado and Beckham’s performance were the best ones tonight. The defender did one of their best nights both in defence and attack. The goal scored by reserve Nuñez makes Real an unbeaten squad on Villarreal’s ground.

"Zidanes and Pavons”
Queiroz had to draw on many reserve players confirming the “Zidanes and Pavons” policy (Roberto Carlos, Cambiasso and Ronaldo were on international duty and Miñambres and Guti were injured). Six reserves stepped on the pitch tonight making up a very young defence that made a huge effort and concentrated on their job which proved very hard in the early minutes of play when the locals attacking drive seemed unstoppable.
The home side remained under the control of the play for fifteen minutes, but after that time Real started to have more possession of the ball approaching the local area more easily. Zidane got injured when his squad was playing the best. Solari came on for him. Madrid was in command of the game by that time and Salgado and Beckham were both close but they missed it just by one inch.

No luck for the Whites
The scene did not change much after the break. Real remained under control with more and more chances. Queiroz’ boys put the home goal under siege and had to clear opportunities to beat it. Pavón first (47’) and Salgado later (52’) kicked the ball into the bar as people were already lifting up to celebrate the targets. It was all hard luck because Madrid deserved to score. Salgado, the best footballer on the pitch tonight, had as many as three chances to score, but just when Madrid was displaying its best football they got the worst result. Experienced local player Anderson managed to beat Casillas with his first shot at goal.

Madrid was seeking the draw and kept charging the opposing goal. The game went a bit crazy with good chances coming up on both areas. Beckham was close but Reina cleared. Salgado, wonderful again, tried once more and almost hit. Beckham put Reina to the test again, but the keeper did a good job tonight. However, he could do nothing to clear Nuñez’ drive. The reserve made the most of the corner kick taken by the white 23. Real went for the win over the five remaining minutes, but luck was not on their side tonight.

Is anybody happier
because you passed his or her way?!
Does anyone remember
That you spoke to him or her today?!
This day is almost over
And its toiling time is through;
Is there anyone to utter now
A friendly word for you?!
Can you say tonight in passing
With the days that slipped so fast,
That you helped a single person,
Of the many that you passed?!
Is a single heart rejoicing
Over what you did or said?!
Does one whose hope is fading
Now with courage to look ahead?!
Did you waste the day, or lose it?
Was it well or poorly spent?!
Did you leave a trail of kindness
Or a scar of discontent?!

2-1:The Whites Start La Liga with a Win!

Ra?l made this statement right ahead of the encounter: we are not 100% yet and our concern now should be just to win the points in these first matches. That’s what they did, with the expected difficulties, playing one of the most powerful squads this season. Scorer Beckham hit first thanks to an assist from Ronaldo, who later scored the winning goal (he only has 33 to go now). Queiroz’ boys have begun the tournament just like they finished the last one: at the top position.

The logic of football was upside down tonight. Beckham, who is supposed to be the best ‘passer’ and Ronaldo, assumedly the best striker, seem to have swapped parts. The Englishman has become the provisional top scorer of the white team thanks to the fantastic assists from the Brazilian. After last Wednesday’s target, today’s opened the score in the second minute against one of the toughest rival this season.

The move set off on the left flank, which was the weakest point of the opponent both in the first and second halves. Varela failed to stop the constant charges by Figo, who came up with two clear opportunities, though Ra?l and Zidane’s shots eventually went too high. Roberto Carlos also find some gaps, just like Zidane and Ronaldo, who wasted another opportunity ruined by the visiting goalie. Betis did not give much hassle, so the game went a bit flat without much excitement about it, as if everything was already decided right from the beginning.

THE MATCH:
2 - REAL MADRID: Casillas; Salgado, Helguera, Rubén Bravo, Roberto Carlos; Cambiasso, Beckham, Figo, Zidane (Portillo, min. 86); Ra?l (Solari, min. 77) and Ronaldo (Morientes, min. 86).
1 - BETIS: Contreras; Mingo, Lembo, Juanito, Varela (Ito, min. 85); Arzu, Assunçao, Joaqu?n, Capi, Ismael (Fernando, 59); Palermo (Maldonado, min. 73).
REFEREE: Fernando Carmona Méndez, Extremadura Referees Association. Yellow cards to Varela, Palermo, Arzu, Capi and Ronaldo.
GOALS:

2-1: Min. 61: Ronaldo, from Zidane’s pass.

"3-0:Real Madrid Champions Again and with Beckham Scoring the Closing Goal!"

Beckham (who scored a beautiful goal) already holds his first trophy as Real player; So does Queiroz, who made his debut on home ground too. Mallorca could not do much to face the powerful drive displayed by the Whites.

Real Madrid was superior to its rival in the first half, regardless of the result. The scoreboard did not show this superiority because of the good job the visitors did in the back and goal lines (Leo Franco did fantastically). Besides, the white forwards’ shooting was not very fine despite all the chances they enjoyed. Salgado, Ronaldo, Beckham, Figo, Roberto Carlos and even Raul (who did not appeared for a long time after his gastroenteritis) all approached to the opposing goal with some danger in several attempts to turn round the aggregate result of the tournament. It was Raul who eventually scored late in the first half thanks to Roberto Carlos’ generosity. It was a target that the Whites had deserved after not only all their chances, but also their better play.

Night to celebrate
The superiority had to show on the scoreboard and it did in the second half. Madrid solved the game very soon after the break thanks to Ronaldo. The Brazilian was brilliant tonight (who said he was too slow?). Then it was Beckham who joined into the party. Iker Casillas did an essential share with four amazing saves that left the rival without much hope. The white fans were happy to see that the mistakes their team had made during the preseason did not seem to appear again. Apart from the trophy, everything about tonight’s game is positive: the extraordinary shape of some white players such Ronaldo, Zidane, Casillas; the good connections at the midfield, the defensive self-confidence, Bravo’s good response... It is not a bad result at this point of the preseason. The first trophy is already at home.

THE MATCH:
REAL MADRID: Casillas; Salgado, Ra?l Bravo, Roberto Carlos; Cambiasso, Beckham, Figo (Zidane, min. 88), Zidane; Ronaldo and Ra?l (Guti, min. 70) (Portillo, min. 85).
MALLORCA: Leo Franco; Cortés, Ni?o (Stankovic, min. 76), Nadal, Poli; Marcos (Nagore, min. 85), Campano, (Perera, min. 56), T. Gonz?lez, Ibagaza; Etto and Bruggink.
REFEREE: Luis Medina Cantalejo, del Colegio Andaluz. Mostr? cartulina amarilla a Ibagaza y a Ni?o.
GOALS:
1-0: Min. 44: Ra?l, from Roberto Carlos’ assist, beats an empty goal.
2-0: Min. 52: Figo long-range centre shot to Ronaldo, who just manages to beat the goalie.
3-0: Min. 73: Beckham, header, from Ronaldo’s centre shot.

"2-1:See You in the Magical Bernabeu Mallorca!"

The Bernabéu stadium will decide which team will be the winner of the Supercup. Real Madrid didn't enjoy its visit to Son Moix (2-1). The result is the only positive point: the double value of the goals in case of draw makes Real Madrid have many possibilities of winning the Supercup. But Real Madrid's play have no intensity or vertical position in the flanks. Its play was based on personal and individual moves that this time were not enough to win the match. Ibagaza was the leader of the local team. The players couldn't snatch victory in the island, but the title has no owner yet. The solution, on Wednesday 27th.
Queiroz planned a very offensive match: Beckham, Zidane, Figo, Ra?l and Ronaldo, all of them in the field to lead Real Madrid to victory. The coach placed Cambiasso in the same position he played against Valencia, in front of the back line to stop Mallorca´s drives. Jaime Pacheco bet for the forward pairing Bruggink-Etoo and the magic of Ibagaza, who continues playing for Mallorca, in spite of the rumours about his contract.

White Missile
The local team enjoyed their first opportunities: Casillas -excellent performance during the whole match- cleared with his body a shot from Bruggink (10’) and Etoo, after playing a perfect one-two with the Dutch player, kicked the ball out (14’). Mallorca dominated the encounter in that moment. However, as Real Madrid doesn't need to be inspired to get into the rival's area, the first goal came easily after Beckham swung a corner-kick that Figo turned into a goal (19’). In minute 27’, Ronaldo was left alone in front of the goalkeeper Leo Franco, but Ni?o avoided the ball found the netIbagaza, the leader
This action didn't stop the man managed by Pacheco, although it balanced the one to one moves. Ibagaza moved the ball without problems but they did not get into the flanks. Bruggink blew two scoring opportunities (25’ y 29’), and Campano, two more (33’ y 41’).

The Whites answered alternatively, with a few quality actions made by some of its best players. Enough to survive, but not enough to win the match. Maybe the heat and humidity did not help to play with more intensity.

THE MATCH:
2 - MALLORCA: Leo Franco; Cortés, Nadal, Ni?o, Poli; Campano (Stankovic, 65’), Marcos, Ibagaza, Toni Gonz?lez (Nagore, 63’); Bruggink (Pereda, 80’) and Etoo.
1 - REAL MADRID: Casillas; Salgado, Helguera, Pav?n (Ra?l Bravo, 54’), Roberto Carlos; Beckham (Makelele, 54’), Cambiasso (Guti, 75’), Zidane, Figo; Ra?l and Ronaldo.
GOALS:
0-1 (19’): Beckham swung a corner-kick, Leo Franco failed his attempt and Figo put the ball into the net.
1-1 (45’): Perfect pass of Ibagaza to Bruggink that crossed the ball in front of Casillas.
2-1 (48’): Campano opens to Etoo and he overcame Iker.
REFEREE: Pérez Burrull. He showed yellow cards to Ronaldo, Pav?n, Poli, Zidane.

(Live and Dreaming Again..)

Whats this in my eye?!
You can see what's on my mind..
I can see it coming down
with a voice and a cry..
romance like tea..
and you sip it and it all goes radical..
with the fantasy of you and me..
yeah and i scream..
with you on my mind that's so heavy..
would you dance with me?!
so that the weight will rise up on me..
and i could keep on floating..
while i look at all these troubles that i left behind..
I'd Dream of you sometimes..
Looking like your so troubled..
And id be there to save you with my rope..
Honey Honey, Would You Dance with me?!
in the middle of this storm?! angel?!
i can wait an hour.. or maybe a day..
eventhough i'm tired..
i'd do this because you are my friend..
so what if i'd take forever..
no reason to get excited..
promenading here while wating for you..
Angel...

Can You Get Away?!

Ever since I met ya
I can't beat tha pressure
it's like your man don't understand
all he does is stress ya
I can see your state of misery
from tha introduction
ain't nobody drinkin' and touchin'
just this harmless discussion
maybe we can see a better way
find a brighter day
late night phone conversations
would that be ok?
I don't wanna take up all your time
or be tha next in line
tell me your size
and let me find things with you in mind
I can see your cautious
and I'm careful not ta scare ya
but anticipation of love makein'
got ya shakin' when I'm standin' near ya
use of precision will prepare ya
in case you get scared
just ask the man in tha mirror
now tha pictures getten clearer
all he does is hit ya hard
I tell ya to leave
and you tell me keep my faith in god
I don't understand
I just wanna bring ya home
I wonder should I leave ya alone
find a woman of my own
all tha homies tell me that you don't deserve it,
I contemplate,
but in my heart I know ya worth it
tell me
Can U get away?

I'm not happy
I feel like remanicin' and I hope ya listen
In tha position and tha pressure and all for competition
me and you
was meant to be my destiny
no longer lonely
cause it's time for you and me
all I can see
a happy home
that's my fantasy
but my reality
is problems with your man and me
what can I do?
don't wanna loose ya to tha sucker
cause if he touch ya
I got some drama for that busta
don't wanna rush ya
but make your mind up fast
nobody knows
or who controls
will it last
before I ask
I hope you see that I'm sincere
and even if ya stay with him
today I'm still here
I refuse to give up
cause I believe in what we share
ya livin' in prison
and what he's givin can't compare
cause everything I feel for you
I wanna let you know
passion will be yours
and I'll never let you go
tell me
Can U get away?

As You can see, I haven't been writing juicy shit these past few days (besides all those Real Madrid stuff). I don't know, maybe its just that i ain't inspired and shit.. Got nothing to write about and stuff.. I'll try writing again tomorrow..

"Real Madrid Makes a Vibrant Debut in Spain"

Even if they are announced as friendly, all Valencia-Real Madrid are not friendly matches at all. Queiroz and his men made their debut in Spain in this pre-season and they did not disappoint anyone (not even Valencia supporters). The match was vibrant, with many goal-scoring opportunities, all of them well saved by Casillas and Palop. At the end of the match, in the penalty shootout (5-6), Real Madrid's players won the cup "Trofeo Naranja". Now, it is time to think in the Spanish Super Cup Friendly?!

There were a few facts that made us think this was a friendly match: the time of the year, the title was not very important and part of the stands was wearing shirts with Real Madrid's colours. But, in fact, this was a very serious match. The test was relevant for both teams, Valencia and Real Madrid. And for the fans, this match became the best match of this hot and long Spanish pre-season.
The starting line-ups confirmed the seriousness of the match. Tests finished for Ben?tez and Queiroz. Their tactic war started when both teams wanted to be in the possession of the ball. But Real Madrid had the possession of the ball during most part of the match, maybe due to the better technical quality the Whites have in the midfield, with Cambiasso at the front, Zidane at the back and Figo and Beckham in both flanks.

Real Madrid rolled the ball perfectly, but they found a serious defence, which didn't leave any spaces in the centre. Only Figo (13’), Roberto Carlos (23’) or Ra?l (26’) could shot from a long-range distance. It was becoming necessary to create more opportunities if they wanted to overcome the “Marchena-Ayala wall ” and make the way into the goal area. Zidane appeared again to make up the best opportunities for the Whites. An excellent service to Ronaldo left the Brazilian alone in front of Palop, but his shot skimmed the post. This was the best opportunity during the first half.

The match was open and Valencia was waiting in his area. However everytime they touched the ball, they hit back and started the counter-attack. They got to the penalty box with danger but only to find Casillas there. The player from the club's school made an excellent performance, especially when he saved well a double shot by Aimar and Vicente. Afterwards, a shot by Olivera hit the sticks luckily. Neither Casillas nor Palop could take a rest during the match. The Valencian goalkeeper saved well from a Zidane´s shot as well. There were no goals during the first half (51 minutes) due to the excellent performance of both goalkeepers.

As minutes were passing, the match was losing intensity due to the effort that players had made and also due to the changes made by both coaches. The penalty shootout was unavoidable. Eleven shots were necessary to know the champion. Cambiasso scored the crucial shot and the cup "Trofeo Naranja" flew to Madrid.

THE MATCH:
0 – VALENCIA: Palop, Garrido, Ayala (Pellegrino, m.46), Marchena, Carboni; Jorge L?pez (S?nchez, m.66), Albelda (Verdejo, m.83), Baraja (De los Santos, m.73), Vicente (Canobbio, m.46), Aimar (Carew, m.59) y Oliveira.
0 – REAL MADRID: Casillas, Salgado, Pav?n, Helguera, Roberto Carlos; Beckham (Guti, m.63), Cambiasso, Zidane (Solari, m.79), Figo (N??ez, m.84) Ronaldo (Portillo, m.75) y Ra?l (Morientes, m.84).
Penalty shootout
Oliveira, Cannobio, Carboni, Marchena and Palop scored for Valencia, Juan S?nchez and Pellegrino missed their shots.
Roberto Carlos, Morientes, Guti, Portillo, Helguera and Cambiasso scored for Real Madrid, Solari missed his shot.
REFEREE: Rodriguez Santiago. He showed the yellow card to Beckham and Marchena.
OTHER FACTS: 23th Edition of the Valencia Naranja Cup. Half attendance in Mestalla Stadium, with many fans of Real Madrid in the stands. Rain during part of the match.

I look Left..
There was another one,

I was there to witness it all..

Tonight is i know, gonna be one unforgetful night,
The Past and the Present is gonna be where i'm gonna be..
Shit... Ain't that a bitch?!

Oh, just sitting while she listens
She says I don't need this place
It seems a million years she's stuck here
But says nothing of what she thinks

She thinks, "Hey,
How did I come to this?
I dreamt like anybody else one night
I would be a beautiful princess."

But then the roads in the park fall
And then she rode the line in
And the colors mix together to grey
And break me out

Oh, when I'm indifferent
She prays to God most every night
Although she swears He doesn't listen
There's hope in her that He just might

She says, "I pray
But then my prayer fall on deaf ears
I'm supposed to take it all myself
To get out of this place."

She feels the lumps in the heart fall
And she rose up in the back
She hears the cars scream out from outside
And she whispers sometimes about this
But the colors mix together to grey
And wake me up

Oh, he grows up living
He says take what you can from your dreams
Make them real as anything
It takes the work out of the courage

She said, "Please,
There's a crazy man standing outside my door
I live on the corner of a dead end street
At the end of the world."

Oh, and the rocks out in the heart fall
And she dreams her way to life
And she knows no one will lift her
So she might as well do it herself

And then bummed out and worried
Of leaving city life
But all the colors mix together to grey

"Wonder"

All the signs were there for me to see
If I cry out with fear I'll feel more afraid
So beat the sense back into me
'Cos you are like forbidden fruit out of my reach
And I forgot what I had sometimes

But if everyone has their shot and moves on
And you can't get out the way
Well it's you wonder will save

You were mine and now you're mine to want
And I knew if you'd cut the cord
And rushed like balloons I'd fall
It's criminal to pause
As you basked in the season of I had it all
And I forgot what I had sometimes

But if everyone has their shot and moves on
And you can't get out the way
And it's all for the best it's all alive
And everyone has their day

'Cos if everyone has their shot and moves on
And you just get in the way
Well it's you wonder will save

Don't let them make you feel small
With their hands like guns at your head
They'll claw but they'll never win if you let wonder in

'Cos if everyone has their shot and moves on
And you can't get out the way
And it's all for the best it's all alive
And everyone has their day..

"1-2:Zidane Prove's to Bangkok why He's one of the Best"

With Ronaldo, Figo and Minambrez' absence, plus Ruben leaving the match at the half hour with an injury, The French midfielder played excellent football. Specially in the second half to get their fourth win in their Asian Tour. Portillo and Morientes were the strikers this time, although the chances came thick and fast during the whole match.

This match was the last chance to see Real Madrid in Asia and fans cluttered the Rajamangala Stadium as well. Carlos Queiroz made seven changes in relation to the match against HK Squad. The coach could not have Luis Figo for this match due to problems in his left soleus. There were many changes in the team, seven players from the Madrid club's school in the field –Casillas, Pav?n, Ra?l Bravo, Rubén, Cambiasso, Guti and Portillo-, the Whites wanted to achieved in Thailand their fourth victory and leave the Asian continent without having lost any match. Celades played as right defender and Cambiasso and Zidane were placed in the midfield.

Javier Garcia Portillo

He had not enjoyed many chances during the match He moved out of the area to help in the play but Portillo did not make his way into the area many times. Until he did. The player from the club's school did not squander a play Morientes had in the area and he put the ball into the net. He scored his second goal in this pre-season (29´). The goal reflected the good football the Whites were offering, but not the fierce drive of the local team. Due to their drive, they almost draw the match at the end of the first half. Casillas, streched out and saved? well from the shot.

Roberto Carlos and César came on after the half-time, which forced Ra?l Bravo to play as center-back since Pav?n was replaced before de second half started. This replacement had immediate effects. Roberto Carlos showed his most offensive features and Guti had much more freedom to make his movements. The Brazilian stroke a missile that was about to find the net.
